The Spring Tour de Vizzed is here!

You can find last season's results here:
https://www.vizzed.com/boards/thread.php?id=106161

NOTE: For the first time in a very long time, every action now works and gives CP! This includes video adding, game streaming, etc.

Here's some brief TdV info:

Each day there will be 4 Jerseys you can compete for:
Yellow Jersey: Most words in a day
Blue Jersey: Most posts in a day
Red Jersey: Most CP in a day
Green Jersey: Most CP actions in a day

If you get 1st place in a Jersey for a day, you get to "wear" that Jersey the following day. To "wear" it means that the background of your username will have a unique background graphic. Only the top 5 places of each Jersey gets points, 1st gets 5 and 5th gets 1. Whoever has the most points for any Jersey at the end of the competition gets to wear that Jersey for the entire next month. If you have more than 1 jersey, your jersey receives stripes for each jersey color you own.

Along with the Jerseys are Banners that change your username color. They basically represent who has the most points total:
Rainbow Banner: Whoever has the most points so far in the competition
White Banner: New member who has the most points so far in the competition (anyone who has signed up in the past 3 months)
Gray Banner: Veteran member who has the most points so far in the competition (anyone who signed up more than 7 years ago)

Tour de Vizzed Rules:

You'll be DQ'd if:

-You copy content from other websites or other posts
-You use the "tabbing" technique to make a bunch of posts in a short amount of time
-You're caught cheating or unfairly earning Contribution Points
-You're found to be reviewing games that you have not finished
-You post twice in a row on a thread (Blog threads are an exception)
-Your posts are found to be below site standard to unfairly gain points or are completely off topic
-If 50% or more of your daily words are posted in the final hour of the day
-Staff members are not allowed to feature their own reviews during the Tour de Vizzed

Reminder: Be sure to PM the RGR Staff if you want a game page added to the site that the site currently doesn't have.

Additionally:
If you get DQ'd just once from a Jersey, you can no longer get points for that Jersey for the rest of the month. We will be very strict from now on with the Tour de Vizzed. Only CP actions which you earned CP off of count toward the Green Jersey.

If you get DQ'd from too many Jerseys in too many TdV competitions, you'll be DQ'd from the TdV forever. Also, if you get DQ'd from a single Jersey in too many competitions, you'll be DQ'd from that specific Jersey forever.

Also, if 50% or more of your daily words are posted in the final hour of the day, you'll be DQ'd from the Yellow Jersey. Too many users have waited until the end of the day to submit a bunch of reviews to the site and that's unfair to users competing

Additional Tour de Vizzed Info:

Some CP actions only count as 1 per day. In other words, any action in the below list can only increase your Green Jersey points by 1:
Forum Navigation, Review Rated, User Referral Posted, Video Rated, Post Spell Checked, Visiting Vizzed, Screenshot Rated, Post, Game Commenting, Thread, Thread Reply, Chat Room Minute, Staff Forum Post, Staff Forum Thread and Screenshot Details Added.

These CP actions do not count toward the Green Jersey: Game Content.

Also the following types of threads have been restricted 1 post per day.
This Thread, ABC, Elimination, and Hangman style threads. Currently ask me anythings not restricted unless abused.

Each day there will be a specific CP action which will be worth doubled the points which benefits the Red Jersey competition. Below is a list of which actions are worth doubled on which days this month:

Jerseys and Banners Affect the Vizzed GO Cards
Competitors of the TdV competition can be caught with their card styles and those cards will eventually have special purposes. More information can be found here:

Let the games begin!

Good luck everyone that does participate.

Also who knew it was Spring time? (Look at first sentence in Davids post)

Well he made the same boo boo too like Furret did. But still what I said in his TdV thread stands I'd rather sit out and prepare for a future tour and do positive things for myself instead of doing something that pressures and overwhelms me and makes me want to get up in the middle of the night

Good thing I started getting all of my stuff together over the last week or so. Looking to come back here strong with some updates. Here's hoping I can stick with it through the month this time.

I wont compete in other Jersey's, just Blue Jersey

Good luck everyone!

Dauntez I haven't forgotten what you did last time, but it doesn't matter right now

while I'm not competing this time I thought I would try the video uploader, using the aborted playing of a version of Vendetta because I didn't like how the gameplay looked (I completed it) but I didn't want it on my own channel

One successful upload later: Classgamestein lives!!! bwa ha ha ha...at least she will in October

Me starting with rainbow is a pretty familiar start to things that said if Minuano is actually going for it and not going to quit 10 days in this time he has my full support! As for me I'd like to focus on green one last time and also make some posts to help my own posting numbers but we'll see how dedicated I can be this month.

ALSO I FINALLY WON ANOTHER RED JERSEY WOOOO ngl I was waiting for someone to drop a review or something like normally happens when I try to win a red I hate trying to win the red jersey it's my worst jersey by far.

Good luck to those who are competing. I am still retired. However, I may pop in now and then and do a thread or two.

woo! It's back!

I'm looking forward to getting as many posts as I can to get closer to 30,000 posts.

I have no intention of winning anything unless my attempt to get more posts get me enough points for the veteran banner.

I've already gotten it though so I feel no need or desire to actually push for it.

Now we can truly say the TdV has started. The funny thing is that the Tour de France is in my city, today was the presentation and in the weekend the first two stages will also use our city. In fact, it will come quite close to my parents' home on Saturday, though I have no interest in watching it.

I have big plans for this month, though real life has started to get in the way already. But with my workload disappearing on the 21st and working part-time from the 24th onwards I'm sure I'll be able to do some things even if late into the month.

Good luck to all competitors! The year has had very interesting competitions so far, let's see what the heat of summer has in store for us.

TEAM MINUANO SIGN UP HERE

LET'S GO MICHAEL
GET THAT WIN

Oh I did not realize there was a TdV starting.

Is it really July again already? This year has been going by so fast. I'll try to participate a little bit this time around, maybe if mohammedroxx3 hangs around I'll have more reason to.

Furret : yes

Hoping to hit 3,000 posts, it should only take me a few days

I got a pretty good point total from 1 day for someone who isn't trying to compete. I just fell like posting a lot yesterday and picked up 14 points.

I did notice that I'm not on the veteran banner list though which seemed strange. I guess you can only win once? That's fine because I wasn't planning to try for it but now it looks I can't even if I want to so I won't

geeogree : nah I broke the banner last tdv it is stuck with me.

You can only win it once.

Today's Double CP Action is Video Submission.

Minuano with the lead.

I opened a bunch of threads everyone have fun posting!

I still say this is corruption always pushing me to the side. As a member since 2009, I deserve and demand equality for running admin like the others. It’s not privilege like those who ran, it’s earned, well earned by just being Bec. Bec is everything, even a victim.

I mean, didn’t expect Manure-ano to be in the lead and Old man somic back from retirement. I said I would compete but with such corruption and no one backing me for admin like they said they would months ago… I have no motivation to win

SonicOlmstead : well coming back to 18 notifications was somehow surprising
