This question has been sitting in the back of my mind ever since I started clearing out all the Pokemon games from Gamestop.

Between all your consoles, how many Pokmemon games do you have in your collection?

For me, I own a total of 14 games split between DS, 3DS, and Switch.

I think that I have around probably around 15 or just over? I have a few extra copies of some games for some reason since someone gave them to me. I mostly use them for just having fun with like doing an egglocke.

Sadly, I only own 6 main title Pokemon games, Black, White, Black 2, White 2, Ultra Sun, and Ultra Moon. I used to have more, but sadly, I sold them all, and the rest I still have, I refuse to get rid of (especially B/W/B2/W2).

I own every game in the main series, barring the opposite versions. If you want specifics, I have: Red, Yellow, Gold, Crystal, Ruby, FireRed, Emerald, Diamond, Pearl, Platinum, SoulSilver, Black, Black 2, X, Omega Ruby, Moon, Ultra Moon, Let's Go: Eevee, and Sword. I do plan on getting all of the opposite versions eventually. I also own several spin offs, and I plan on getting all of those eventually as well.

I added 3 copies of Pokemon Sun and 1 copy of Gates to Infinity, bringing my total up to 18.

i own 11 Pokemon games

Well I had to think about it a bit but I believe I own about, 12 games somewhere in there I have most of the ds games and 3ds games while also having lets go pikachu and Pokemon Shield.

I only have Sword for my Switch. Never really had a nintendo handheld console growing up. I mean, I wanted one, but there was never enough games that interested me enough to constitute me buying a DS, or a 3DS.

aside from sword and shield i own all the main line games, or at least 1 version.

as far as side games i only own the older ones, mystery dungeon red, sky, time. stadium 1 and 2. colliseum. and i think thats it. so thats like 16? dunno where most of them are though.

None. I'm not into Pokémon anymore.

Tallying these up makes 13 pokemon games I own in total. Regrettably, I don't yet own physical versions of Red/Blue/Yellow, Gold/Silver/Crystal or Ruby/Sapphire/Emerald. I've played all of them through either through emulation or the 3DS virtual console, but these are all games I would eventually like to own a physical copy of someday.

I don't physically own any I don't think... in terms of the games I've actually PLAYED it's all of them except OG Sun and Moon. But I'm not someone who typically purchases physical copies, and I'm not one to shy away from piracy, so I don't really own any for real. However, I did dig through my closet a bit, and found these:

That's about it, though I certainly owned a copy of Pokemon Y and Alpha Sapphire at some point. Though I wasn't very impressed with those games, so I don't mind that I can't seem to find them. I'm sure they're still in my closet just deeper than I was willing to look, but... there's really no point in finding them hahah. I'd rather replay a DS-era game.

The physical ones I own include

- Pokemon Leaf Green (bought this at a christmas market for like 5 euros when I was like 11, I was so happy because it was cool owning a GBA game when the DS was the new thing.

- Pokemon Emerald (a friend who I took music and dance classes with when I was young told me she had it and up to that point I had never played a gen 3 game before so I offered to buy it from her and she agreed)

- Pokemon Soul Silver (the only game I've ever pre-ordered. it also came with the Pokéwalker which I abused by just twisting it. I don't know where the cartridge is at the moment but it has to be in my room somewhere)

- Pokemon White (First games to come out after I really got into Pokemon, me and my friends used to roleplay as the new Pokemon they'd reveal every week. My favorite to roleplay was Sandile lmao)

- Pokemon White 2 (Got this on release date and beat it the next day. An amazing game and well worth the money.)

- Pokemon Shield (Got a Switch finally this year just to play this and any future games I might enjoy. I think it has very strong upsides but a few things drag the game down for me)


And digitally I own

- Pokemon X (first game for the 3DS, I went digital because I was lazy and didnt want to go to the store)

- Pokemon Alpha Sapphire (same here, loved the game but the graphics felt REALLY off for some reason)

- Pokemon Moon (Got this on release and it might be among my least favorite. Plenty of issues with Alola, the story, the presentation and the insane lag at points. I played Ultra for the first time a few months back and that was such a good experience, f*** Sun/Moon lmao)


Shoutout to Pokemon Diamond which was the first one I owned myself but it was illegally LMAO. 300+ hrs into it though
