2 things I wanted to go over.

New Schedule
So I've had an adjustment in my schedule at the place I work. I no longer will be working Mondays but will be working Fridays instead. So now my work schedule will be Friday, Saturday and Sunday, from 6 AM - 6 PM (central time). During these days I do no development on the site.

Taking a Small Break
So my kids go back to school in a few weeks and I came to the realization that I hadn't been spending enough time with them since they started Summer Break. So to make it up to them, I'm only going to spend around 8 hours on the site a week. Once they go back to school, I'll go back to spending 24+ hours a week on the site.


EDIT: I'm now back to working on the site 24+ hours a week. I'll be working on the site 3 days a week any day between Monday and Thursday, usually from around 7 AM - 3 PM central time. Some weeks I might work 4 days, some weeks I might only work 2, it'll really depend on what I have going on in my personal life. I might also work more than 8 hours on some days. The 1 thing that will most likely remain consistent is me working on Mondays for at least 8 hours.

Power to you, David. After all, you are human and not a machine, so of course you have your limits and other stuff you personally hold dear - in this case, you have a family that you love dearly and truly care for. I completely understand everything you're saying, and it all makes perfect sense. Anyway, I hope everything goes over well - for you and your family. Have a great time!

Rayman85 : good for you David for wanting to take some time off especially after all the work that you do here anyone who works as hard as you certainly deserves to have a break in my opinion I hope you have a great time with your family

It's nice that you can be able to manage your time with things going on in real life, it can be quite hectic at times where everything you have to do regarding work, and taking care of your family can take a lot out of you, and once your kids get sent to school, that would free a lot more time toward other things either on the site, or stuff in real life.

Keep up the good work David both online and offline.

Focus on your family David, we'll be fine here and all that. We'll hold the fort until things get rolling again.
