danielbelitch : videos are alright but I know most probably don’t know how to make that work without use of pc... so I guess screenshots of the result screen (the usual KO damage dealt and etc) as a way to see who fought who and the statistics. It’s a 1v1 tournament using a double elimination bracket so you can only lose one match. As for the opponents you can create a room online and if you can reach your opponent like discord or something and give them details (like room name and password) they can access through that. Adding them as friends just seems easier to do.
AuraBlaze : no deadline yet since zanderlex is hosting his tournament right now so I’m just leaving this open for a while. I do however want the tournament start sometime late January or early February and that the contestants are able to have free time on their hands

I saved the replay of my first online fight (was surprised I actually won) and it came out pretty good. Not sure what you'd do with said file afterward, but since it's in-game and on the Switch, I imagine it shouldn't be much trouble over the screenshot. Endgame pic definitely sounds much easier, though, and better on file size.

If no one signs up by then I’ll most likely fill in the space to make it an even 16 (don’t like it but don’t want someone to have an easy access to next round be unfair).

As of now want everyone to have a voice on the rules. Which to stay, add, delete as a way to make things even and keep everyone happy with the tournament (and fair!) If someone suggests something and people like it... you can like the post and I’ll look into it with my assistants (or rather people who know more than me)

I agree with Snu. Stage hazards turned off should be sufficient. But if people really don't like that, then Battlefield or Final Destination variants give us at least a little variety.

No items, 3 stock, no final smashes. Either no time limit or 7 minutes. There's nothing worse than having a great game with someone and the timer starts to run out.
