Today is National Posting Day! All you have to do is post and win prizes. Every post counts and the more posts there are, the bigger the prizes.


Side-wide Goals

1. If the site reaches 500 total, the following will be rewarded:

The 5 users with the most posts will get 50,000 Viz each and will get 5 games from my Steam game thread for free.

All the remaining games from the steam game thread will be available to all users for free at up to two games per user.


2. If the site reaches 1,000 total posts, the following will be rewarded:

The 5 users with the most posts will split an additional prize pool of at least 300,000 Viz. The prize pool will go up for every post made above 1,000.

Nearly all games in the Vizzed Market will be 25% off. Users will have the ability to tell me what games they want and I will buy them from the market and sell them for 25% off. Games must not cost more than 50,000 Viz and this would run until 250,000 Viz worth in discounts has been claimed.

For both 500 and 1000 posts, their are extra prizes based on who finishes 1st, 2nd, and 3rd in posts.


3. If we somehow get to 2000 posts, all hell will break loose and the 10 users with the most posts get a lot of Viz.

4. If 50 different users make at least 1 post, 5 random users who posted are going to walk away with 10,000 Viz.

5. If 100 different users make at least 1 post, 12 of those users will walk away with 12,000 Viz.

6. If 25 threads are made, 1 thread maker will win a Viz prize.

7. If 50 threads are made, 2 thread makers will win a better prize.


Individual goals

8. Any user who makes 25 posts will get 10,000 Viz.

9. Any user who makes 60 posts will get an additional 15,000 Viz.

10.Any user who makes 100 posts will get an additional 25,000 Viz.

So for example, any user with 100+ posts gets 50,000 Viz automatically.

In addition, Minuano and Legacyme3 may still be doing their own prizes for users who reach 100 posts.

11. There will be a bunch of hidden challenges throughout the day that will be randomly won for doing different things. Once a a certain number of users complete the challenge, a winner is picked and then that challenge becomes irrelevant and moves on to the next one.

Some challenges are based on posts per hour, words per post, posts in a certain forum, and much more.



If the site makes 1000 posts and a user finishes in top 5 with 100+ posts, the minimum they will earn is 160,000 Viz and 5 steam games.

We have our last local holiday of the Christmas season on the 6th, which means the 7th is the first day back to the usual routine and so there'll be lots of things to do and prepare for the month.

I'll participate with a couple posts here and there, why not, but it's unlikely I'll contribute much to this. Plus, I'll be getting a new game on that holiday, so let's hope it doesn't rob me of all my free time lol

I'll participate. I'll try and post as much as possible, TdV next month will especially help with that.

And January 7th also happens to be my (6th) Anniversary of joining Vizzed.

Plus January 7th being part of TdV month, I can see a lot of people participate for that, as for me, who knows, I may or may not. 

I’m in for this, I should be able to get 25 posts as long as everyone else is posting.

I could for sure use some more Viz...I’m kinda low since I’ve been buying so many games.

Do y'all have ideas on more prizes or ways to make the day more fun or active?

Something like this...
Make 5 threads get 5,000 Viz
Make 10 threads get 10,000 Viz
Make 15 threads get 15,000 Viz
Make 20 threads get 20,000 Viz

You can make up the amounts that is just an example.

We should try and not only break # of posts per day but also # of threads per day

zanderlex : I love how you talk about making 25 posts a day like it's child's play when there's people like me that have barely got to those numbers twice in their Vizzed history, but whatever.

You have set special bonuses for whoever hits italics or sets their name ablaze (if the requirements for that are 100 posts, I still don't know that), so maybe we could add more bonuses regarding the other post syndromes, mainly Trooperness A+ (75 posts a day), Ravering (150 posts a day) and Ravering+ (200 posts a day). Not sure if anyone could hit Veneeval, but those three have chances, even if slim, to be hit.

Trooperness A+ should reward around 15k Viz and be limited to some 20 users, since it's between the two prizes you already stated. I'd make Ravering reward 35k and be limited to 5-7 users, and Ravering+ would reward 50k and be limited to 3 users at most. We could discuss these amounts, but I think they're fairly decent.

I'm also in for Jigsaw's idea, creating new threads also sparks activity and we should reward that as well. I think his amounts are good as they are, but I'm open to any change.

Interesting Vizzed fact, current post record in a single day is 1981 posts on 07-02-13. Realistically, we have about 10 active posters maybe more maybe less so in order to break that record we need all 10 posters to make 198 posts each, or one person make 1900 posts and the rest can post normally

EX Palen : Rewards for other syndromes sound good but the prizes might be too much if a lot of people reach them. The cost of this one if everyone maxes out is already well above a million Viz.

Light Knight : Sweet man. Maybe we can boost up the individual prizes with this like instead of 25K for 100 posts, 50K instead.

Unfortunately I'll be pretty busy that day.... got work stuff to do that day and I've already got plans that evening. If it had been a weekend I would have had a lot more time. Oh well, good luck to everyone. 500 posts is easily achievable.

geeogree : Honestly just making threads before that day would probably help too.

I'm gonna try my best to at least contribute a few posts here. Considering how much more activity the board's seen recently, I think 500 should be achievable with some effort. 1000 is a little more iffy, though.

NovemberJoy : Sweet. I didn't really expect this many people to be into the concept so early.

One idea that I have to boost activity on this day is that I plan on reopening some shops and making some new ones. Gonna get back into PokeFarm Q and sell off nearly all of my Pokemon. Gonna sell all my Pokemon in PokeCord. Gonna sell my first batch of movie codes. Gonna think of other things to sell as well.

I guess we'll see how this goes considering TdV is this month. I don't know if many people would be posting because of national posting day or if it's just for TdV but hey, activity is activity I suppose.

Either way I'll probably be posting sometime on the 7th just for fun.
