It's time for the tournament to begin.

We're going to start with 3 brackets of 4 users each. All future rankings and wild cards will be based on total damage done.

Bracket 1:
yoshirulez! vs Mecha Leo
Uzar vs. becerra95

Bracket 2:
Sonicolmstead vs Moss
IgorBird122 vs Snu

Bracket 3:
Lexatom vs Minuano
KillerLatias vs Light Knight

I used a RNG to determine the order of each match up. So the first user of each matchup picks the stage. The user who picks alternates with each fight.

Each round is a best of 5 series. You must win 3 matches to advance.

Each winner will advance to the next round. The two losers with the highest damage dealt will advance as wild cards.

Then the 8 users will compete in a standard bracket.

All items on unless both users agree for an individual match. All characters and stages are allowed.

After each match, the winner will post screenshots with all of thd details including who won and who lost, and damage dealt of both.

Each match is up to 5 lives.

If you disagree with any of this, fight me now and maybe we can change something.

Round 1: 01/01-01/07
Round 2: 01/08-01/13
Round 3: 01/14-01/18
Round 4: 01/19-01/22

Chose to make each round a day shorter because there would be fewer users each time.

Sonicolmstead : I can't promise anything yet. I'm gonna see if I can manage to work something out for our matches, but if I wind up not being able to make it work, you can win by default. I'll get back to you on whether or not my plan pans out.

When will you be good for matches in the event I can?

m0ssb3rg935 : I normally would say just give me a time whenever you'd be able but with my grandma having surgery recently I would say it's probably better to do it during the evening sometime in est time so if you were able to sometime around or pass 6 pm this week that would be best.

Killer Latias told me to tell you he cannot participate as his switch is broken and is being repaired.

Well, not a very exciting way to advance, but I'm afraid Sonicolmstead will be the third one to move to round two by default.

Sonicolmstead : Sorry man, just couldn't swing it. For a piece of tech that's supposedly so advanced, wifi connectivity on the thing is pretty sad.

I won against Lexatom. We did it last night but something came up and I had to leave right after the match. My bad about not updating until now.
