Unless you're either a non-Pokemon fan or you've been living under a rock. They have been rumors about a leaked Core Pokemon game called "Let's Go Pikachu/Eevee".

To be honest, I don't really like the titles it's going to be called, it doesn't really fit perfectly for a Core Pokemon title, more like a side-game or a spin-off game like a sequel to "Hey You, Pikachu!" or something like that. Personally, I hope that these won't be the titles, remember when rumors likes these surfaced with Pokemon Gray, Pokemon Z, and Pokemon Stars, and a lot of people believed that they seen leaked screenshots and videos of these 3 games, and people claimed that these were going to be Pokemon's next titles, but all that turned out to be false.
Personally, I hope that it's false and these doesn't end up being the next core game, I like to see these games to be a spin-off game though.


What are your thoughts about the "leaked Let's Go Pikachu/Eevee" games? Good or Bad.

I'm not really a hardcore fan or anything (I haven't played anything after gen 4 and I didn't play much of it) so it's not like it'll be a big let down for me. There have been other things in the past and even recently that decided to just run with the project names. Project Octopath Traveler is an example. It's not long before release and the official title only dropped "project". Names aside, what will really disappoint me is if the screenshots that are floating around right now are real and any kind of an indication of the finished product. It looks to me more like a 3DS game that's been in the works for a while that they're just deciding to port over to Switch instead of building the game for the Switch from the ground up and utilizing the hardware's potential. But, that's a big "if". It's anyone's guess if they're actually real screenshots.

They are some good leaked games! As long as Let's Go Pikachu/Eevee games also end up on the 3DS, then people would be happy!

I love the idea of basically Pokemon Yellow but with an Eevee instead. Though I hate the idea of it only being on the Switch.

I don't know. It's not like I won't buy it, but it's just I'm not that hyped about it? It's nice that it's probably a Yellow remake, and the pokeride system is coming back and all, but catching pokemon similarly to pokemon go well idk. I haven't played this game for a while, so I must have missed a lot of new things (probably a change in gameplay). I think it will be a success since we're getting more and more Pokemon Go players, and more Pokemon players in general.

I really, really like that the catching system is similar to Pokemon GO, if that's true. I frankly loved the more interactive way of catching Pokemon. Now, I don't expect there to be IAPs. So I think Poke Balls should be able to be bought with in-game money, money that is plentiful at the endgame. So really, that catching Pokemon expects more out of the player may turn off some. But having the feel of actually throwing something out there is cool, I think.
