I think that it would be nice to do is not post on vizzed for a day to celebrate 9/11 to honor the fallen who have died in the horrible crash(the MAN who did this did this one purpose glad he his dead now)I think the people would thank us for not posting we can start posting again on Monday night a 8:00.

I personally don't think spamming 5000 times is really a fitting gesture for something like 9/11. I would rather make a tribute thread for the 10th anniversary and let people say something about the tragedy. I don't see a need for a post spree day for it though.

I feel that this is something better left alone as it is already a moment in history talked about enough, and will be forever remembered by some. I just don't think we need to do all that much to recognize the event here on the message board.

I don't mean to say it like this, but why does everyone want to celebrate 9/11? The best thing America can do is put it behind them and move forward, rather than "celebrate"(and I hesitate to use this word) 9/11. I think its important to remember 9/11, but I think there are more important things happening that don't get "post days". There are no Post Spree days for the thousands losing their lives to genocide and hunger in Africa every single day. In my mind, Sakura day is the only thing that needs a special Vizzed holiday.

I think instead of NOT posting, it would be more productive to maybe have a limit of how many posts and that would honor the memory of everyone that lost their loved ones and who died on that day. Not posting would be like showing you don't care. But that's just my opinion.

Elara : a somewhat related note when i was in ypres(belgium) and went to see the sounding of the last guard(youre a history buff so i dont think i need to explain all that)i was pretty disgusted that the politicians hijacked it for publicity.the one group that can benefit from mass murder,i now realise,are politicians.i expect that any president that attends the 911 memorials in the future will do much the same =(
