Another update for you all.

PlayStation games are finished transferring and are available to be played again! Well technically some of the games have been available for a while since the games have been transferring for the past few days but they're basically almost all finished transferring now.

The transferring of the other CD games will begin tonight and will probably take until Sunday to finish transferring. The next CD system that I'll be working on will probably be the Sega Saturn so you can probably expect them to become available again Saturday night.

The main Chat Rooms are still down (including the Netplay Lobby chat) but I'll hopefully get them back up over the next 2-3 days. The Vizzed Minecraft server is still down since I'm having troubles transferring it over to the new server due to the size. There are probably a few other lesser known services that I'm forgetting to mention that are still down but I'll be sure to let everyone know as I get each down service back up.

Davideo7 : Thanks for the updates! Honestly I kinda figured to temper my excitement on the CD games until I see how everything is transferred over. Still though, I'm impressed with the sheer speed the server showed during my quick trial. Something to be a little excited about anyways.

Just letting you guys know that the Vizzed Minecraft server will take a little while longer to transfer (refer to my previous post). You guys of course wont be expected to hit quota this month. I'm doing all that I can though and working hard at getting things taken care of but the Minecraft stuff is giving me some problems

Basically I have all of the entire Vizzed Minecraft Server files zipped up which ended up being around 24 GB and took nearly 2 days to zip. The problem I'm having now though is getting the file transferred to the new server. I can't seem to get it transferred because the 2 servers seem to be rejecting the transfer of the file for some reason. It even rejects the file when I try to send it to 1 of my other servers. I can simply download it and that does seem to work but even though my internet download speed is fast, my upload speed isn't all that fast and when I upload stuff, it slows down my entire internet to a crawl. I may try and download it anyway and then try to upload it over night.

EDIT: I've decided to go ahead and download it to my computer and then I'll set the upload tonight. If all goes well, the server could potentially be up tomorrow but we'll see.

Davideo7 : will handheld devices be added to the netplay server? ( also is there anything I can do to help out in vizzed.com? )

skyboy3004 : There currently is no way to do handheld netplay, sorry. The 2 best ways to help out the site are by donating and submitting content to the site. There are tons of opportunities to submit content to the site including screenshots, videos, reviews, etc.

Those CD systems you mentioned oh my.....I would be in nostalgia heaven, some I never played if even half of those systems get put on here I would literally cry tears of happiness heh. Keep it up Davideo 7 and this amazing site.

Lycan212 : Some of those systems we could possibly see within a few months to a year while others may take a few years. It'll really all depend on how well the site is doing months from now and how many donations I can get to fund further development of the plugin. But I agree, it would be nostalgia heaven. I especially want to get 3DO added to the site eventually.

Pioneer Lazeractive. Wow that's a name that I haven't heard or thought of in awhile. Would be hilarious to mess around with that platform. Sad that more never happened with it.

Glad that the chat rooms will should be up soon. Even though its empty most of the time, not being able to at least check if there's someone there has been driving me crazy since I'm usually there every single day for a bit.

David - Thanks for the effort you're putting into getting the server back up and ready for us! I hate that you were kinda forced into doing the transfer, but hopefully it'll be beneficial in the long run...

Thanks for the update, David. Like mrfe said, I surely hope this would be beneficial in the long run.

Random question. How is the chat room still charging Viz if it's down and you go to see if it's up?

Jordanv78 : Yeah it's an interesting system that most have never heard about and for those who have heard of it, they usually don't know much about it. I know a little about it but I'd love to discover more. From what I've seen, the Sega CD games that were ported to that system looked better than they did on the Sega CD (not sure if they played better or not though). I'm not for sure if it's possible to even emulate it but if there is a way and it's within budget, I'll definitely go for it eventually.

Another update.

All CD games should now work! PC-FX, Turbo Grafx CD, CDi and Sega CD were transferred and made available again sometime yesterday. The transferring of Sega Saturn took place around 36 hours ago and was just made live now. PlayStation was made available again a few days ago which I posted an announcement about already.

The Vizzed Minecraft Server, Chat Rooms and a few other services will most likely be available tomorrow. The migration of those services takes some custom configuration which can be a little time consuming. The Minecraft Server files have all been transferred and extracted but for some reason I still can't get it to work; I'll continue looking into the issue tomorrow and will hopefully have it working again.

Over the next few days I'll also be making some adjustments to how the Game Accelerator item works. I'll also be adding 1 or 2 new netplay servers and taking down 1 or 2 of the current (hopefully the new ones run better).

Ah getting better results. Now its the Chat room and Minecraft that's your challenge. Hope it gets fixed. Or rather improved. Just saying ya know. Btw what this new prove for the netplay and Game Accelerator?

Davideo7 : That's okay. I can do videos, reviews and other stuff. The one thing I cant do is post a screen shot. You see I am using a HP Windows 8 PC and f1-f12 are used for different tasks

 f1 is the windows help button, f2 is to lower the brightness, f3 is to increase the brightness, f4 is the screen share/monitor swap, f5 is to refresh or send me to the home page, f6 is to cut to the beginning of a video, f7 pause/play, f8 cut to the end of a video, f9+f10 are the volume control buttons, f11 is to mute the volume and f12 is for airplane mode.

Is there any way to fix this?

The PSX games are re downloading every time I try to play them. It downloaded yesterday again even though I already have it. And it is doing it again now. Thankfully it is not deleting data as far as I can tell but it takes forever to download...
