Basically, I choose Harry Potter. Twilight has so many haters and it also has some overrated characters that no one cares about. Harry Potter has more effort and it has so many fans that loves Harry Potter.

This really is isn't even a competition, come on. 16 votes to 3? Harry Potter has been out longer and the books are just better! There are more books and it isn't revolving around love and romance all the time, sure sometimes characters like each other, but that is not what it is all about. I have seen the twilight movies and they are decent, not bad. Never read the books though, but coming from someone who read all the harry potter books multiple times and seen the movies, I am voting for harry potter. It is just awesome, by far some of the best movies out there.

Well, I think I would have to go with Harry Potter on the movies. I have not read any of the books, and it will probably stay like that. However, I have read all the Twilight books at least 3 times a piece, and seen all 5 movies at least twice, so Twilight gets my vote.

Harry potter both the book and movie series was way better then the Twilight book and movies series. Reading the first book of the Twilight saga was such a painfully bland experience that I nearly died. I read all 498 pages of that piece of crap that I'd forced myself to lug around in my backpack (I selected it from the library just to laugh at it). However, there was nothing to really laugh at. The book was so terrible, and so boring, that it wasn't even funny. When I finished it, I didn't really bother with the second Twilight book. I read some of it, but then I completely lost interest, fast-forwarded through more than half of the book, and returned it to the library to replace it with a story that was actually tolerable. I've heard that the movie is even worse, but at least it's not as pointlessly long as the book. THE WHOLE FIRST TWILIGHT BOOK IN A NUTSHELL: Schoolgirl named Bella (who has bad taste in cities) meets a gay sparkling teenage pedophile vampire superboy named Edward and they fall in love, doing anything to protect each other (and harp on and on?and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on about each other's beauty UNTIL THE DAYS OF THEIR DEATHS). Edward introduces Bella to his superpowered vampire family, Bella gets in trouble with her normal family, and things start to get even crazier. Two of the vampires become unable to resist their temptation, and Bella nearly gets killed by their venomous fangs. Bella is so clumsy that she nearly kills herself just from walking through a party.
