As much as I want to get to first soon, Alex has posed quite the difficult challenger. Not sure how I’m supposed to compete with 8k words in a day, but I guess some days you can’t win them all. It’s incredible to see how active this TdV has become, hopefully he’ll run out of steam pretty quickly so I can get back to my winning ways.

I like to thank myself for this surge of activity. Everyone wants to see what “Becky” has been up to and since I’m not competing they were like “Dang, Tour de Vizzed will be pretty easy now with Becky not competing and SomicOlmstead retiring. I can probably win for once”. Thus, the rise of competition has only made it more enticing for more users to post and be able to swipe jerseys and points to get the coveted rainbow Jersey that Barathemos should take soon.

It certainly is incredible to see multiple people with slanted names, and actually over 10 people making multiple posts in the same day. It has been forever since I've seen so many different users engaging with the community. Maybe the activity will drive sonic out of retirement.

As for yesterday, sadly I didn't have all that much time to participate, however classgame only gained 1 point on me, so I'll take it. There was certainly no way I was going to watch Alex's 10k+ words (which is a little ridiculous ). As much as I love the competition, maybe a little less

Yesterday surely was one of the most active days we've had in overall terms. Yellow and Red showed massive numbers, as well as Blue. Been a very long while since we saw this level of activity, as well as such healthy competition during TdV.

Since some active users of the past are coming back to activity, they also come loaded with ideas for new threads which in turn gives everybody more chances to post. This helps in turn having a much more active userbase in general terms, compared to the handful of active users we were used to see.

The year is surely starting strong for the site. I hope there's no massive burnout by anybody in the second half of the month, and if we could keep some of the momentum going even after the month ends it would be simply amazing.

I've decided I will win a jersey today I don't know which one or how long I'll be able to fight for each one but that's the goal! With it being the 14th my lucky number I feel quite confident about this goal but we shall see how this old man competes in the most active tour de vizzed in years!
