No idea what white banner is but you probably will win that too.

JigSaw : Haha I wish I could win everything.

I mean the White banner is for users who have registered within the past 3 months (though it should be changed to 6 months really due to the biannual competition now).

Gray is for people who have been here 7+ years so I physically can't win those two.

But I'll likely be the third person to win every single jersey and the rainbow banner after Singelli and zanderlex. Pretty elite group I guess

I also became the 12th user to pass 1000 total points like two days ago which is pretty hype. This year I've really skyrocketed when it comes to the TdV, something I never thought I would do or was even capable of.

Furret : I think we should up the white banner to users registered in past year. 6 months would be good too, but with activity this bad it might need an even higher increase.

Or better yet maybe we need to base it on powerlevels. If one is a newbie or normal power level they could qualify for white banner as they are both technically new to the community despite however long back they registered. Those who have been here a while and are well known will most likely be trusted, staff or vizzed elites.

I'm back from my trip to Cedar Point. I'm going to try to get a few points before the final hour ends.

Well looks like the only jersey I'll probably be able to get today will be Yellow if I try hard enough to defend my lead against SacredShadow. I don't really mind as at this point I'm fairly certain I've mathematically won the TdV as well as 2/4 of the jerseys, with green being close on the horizon.

I guess I'll just have to push ahead for one more week to try and break the point record and after that I can chill. I'm happy people are at least competing today, with JigSaw and SacredShadow doing pretty well.

Bomberman Final Matchup at 2 PM (CST) Today!

I'm having probably the slowest of races with Yuna, no 8120 and David for 4th place overall. Just 26 points separating 4 users who have a hard time scoring rather regularly, so the fight is on

We should start noting down the records Furret can break. Most points is the first that comes to mind, but I'd like to know what's the biggest margin between winner and runner-up because that one can also go down.

Sorry David, but I had to work, so I couldn't see the final Bomberman match...

You know I actually enjoy having to fight for a couple jerseys. Makes it a lot more fun than not having to put in any effort. I'm just relieved it's happening now so I don't risk losing anything and can just have fun with it haha, it's all about not burning yourself out.

After today I will have officially mathematically secured 3 of the 4 jerseys so we big time chilling.

Please DQ me from all jerseys in TDV I have been abusing my powers by taking advantage of other staff members roles and using staff exclusive pages to rank up CP and actions. Might be time to secure those loopholes!

While you are at it, exclude all staff actions from this competition. If I were a non-staff I wouldn't even bother participating knowing staff have bonus pages to rank up CP and actions for red and green jerseys.

Well, I think I'm out of juice for today, but I'm happy with the level activity I've had over the course of this TDV.

As far as I know, I don't think I've ever seen a TDV where the first place point total is more than double that of second place. This could very well be the largest margin between the winner and runner-up in TDV history.

Well, that was unexpected... I guess I've officially clinched grey. I guess I can focus on off-site stuff now.

EX Palen : Don't worry, I haven't been competing or paying attention to the TDVs ever since the middle of the previous one. It's going to take something akin to a miracle to get me interested in the TDVs again. Personally, I've been pretty busy with real life stuff so all I'm going to do is cheer for whoever actually decided to do something to get on the list. Yay. *Cheers for you*

Furret : Better than a bunch of actions/ratings that look like CP/Viz abuse. Also, age-old TDV problem with veterans vs. new people, so nothing new.

What's happening is not crazy because this is exactly what happens when there's no activity and I think most everyone understands that by now. And don't worry, unlike some other people with no understanding of anything and no sportsmanship (same people that have been driving newbies like me away from the site with what they say and do by the way), I won't say demeaning things like your win is a joke or anything, even if it appears to be one-sided on the TDV List. Anyone that's actually tried to compete in the TDV to win knows that every point requires at minimum some time and commitment. Time out of your precious life that you're never going to get back. It's easy to say that people will win by default if no one else is competing but few people actually know how stressful it is to try to hold on to the Rainbow Banner. It's one thing to be outside looking in at a fight. It's another to be in the arena. Also, it's not up to them if others want to compete or not so no matter how dead the TDV is, a win is still a win.

Since you probably already understand most of this, I'm not going to continue to express my disappointment with certain toxic people that are still on Vizzed, still disliking this and that and complaining about everything under the sun. With these comments, I kind of expect to receive dislikes and negativity again from the same people that have forever been unwelcoming, but at least this time I know they're just not pleasant people in general so that no longer bothers me.

In other words, congratulations on obtaining so many points so quickly! =) Are you sure you don't want to try for more points? lol

Yuna1000 : Thank you, I really appreciate it.

I've competed back to back now in TdVs and I've definitely noticed the ups and downs of the competition. I'm enjoying scoring points and at this point having won the TdV, but I enjoyed the previous one a lot more, despite me not winning it in the end. Probably because of me going in blind and feeling the rush of activity we had during that period.

That said you're right, TdV is stressful. Before this year I was probably among those who didn't really realize this as I had never participated for more than a day or two. I lost interest in the competition sometime in 2013 and only really checked up on it due to being on the mod team (something which at the time I felt a lot of mods didn't even bother doing). After going through it twice now I get it.

Also, I know I don't need to tell you this but please don't let a few rotten apples on here stop you from voicing your opinion or make you want to avoid the site. I've always appreciated the effort you've put in for Vizzed as well as your input, whether it was on the mod team or stuff like this.

You know there's a lot of people out there who get by in life by setting goals for themselves. That's never been my style really, I'm the type of guy who enjoys life as it comes and lives in the present. All I knew going through this TdV was that I was determined to win. Instead of focussing on numbers and how many points I was ahead of ___ like last time I just took each day as it came. Some days I felt like trying my best to maximize my score output and other days I did my usual round of the site and went to bed early. Some days I felt like having friends do well and took a back seat. I never really knew until it happened. Every now and then I'd look at the results to see how I was doing overall but that was that.

So to answer your question, I'm not too sure where exactly I want to end up. Now that I have a realistic shot of breaking the point record I'd like to aim for that, though at this point that will probably happen regardless if I actively go for it or not. I'll see if my determination lasts until the end of the month.

God I feel like I just rambled a ton haha, apologies if this post doesn't make structural sense.
