So basically there's some kind of weird glitch that Furret and I found out about in my What's up with the view thread and that's been confirmed in a few others.

If you summon someone in a post, that post literally disappears.

For example, if you look at new Posts, and look at the march Madness thread, it says there's was a post by jparks34 at 2PM today, but if you go in the thread, the last post was a few days ago.

I wouldn't suggest trying it out though.

In the new reply page looks like someone did actually try this before me. Thanks for noticing this.

For once I thought you failed the summon in your reply to me in that thread, but looks like it wasn't a mistake.

I generally only use summons in the staff forums now that I barely post anymore, but I'll refrain from testing if this error also happens in private forums like those. I'll have to make sure to remember this until it's fixed though.
