Black Lives Matter..(feel free to give your two cents on the activist group as a whole)

I don't even know where to begin with this Activist group, for starters Martin Luther King Jr, and Malcolm X are probably rolling over in their graves...here's my opinion on why this activist group is focused on the wrong idea's...

Instead of being so focused on whites killing blacks, more specifically white cops killing blacks, they need to focus more on the reasoning on why the cops were called there in the first place and the reasoning on the cops taking a more aggressive approach when dealing with black suspects. But that's another story in itself and I don't want to speak on that at this time, but Black lives matter should be more focused on improving the black community and addressing and dealing with the real issues that plague the black community.

How you portray and present yourself(both dressing wise, and speaking wise), most black people won't talk about the fact that they tend to glorify or portray themselves as a "thug" or criminal in the way they dress and act as well as how you speak. The glorification of criminals and gangs and the criminal element drug usage and dealing ,instead of education and academics( it's hard to feel bad the cops killed a guy that was suspected of selling drugs and various other criminal activities which is the reason the cop was there in the first place)And above all the killing of blacks by other blacks which really ticks me off

Divine Aurora : You would be right. Martin Luther King Jr. and Malcolm X would be ashamed to see how a lot of their race conducts themselves. Now,before you all rip into me,hear me out. There are good black people that try to do the right thing, become respectable citizens, and make something of themselves. And then you have the idiots in the BLM.

The BLM does not want social change. They want the freedom to be a nuisance,to interrupt people's lives,to be thugs,to burn and loot stores,to commit crimes without punishment. Now the thing that I will never understand about these morons is threefold.

1. If you present yourself in a decent manner, you will be treated decent. If you present yourself like a thug, you will treated like a thug. Figure it out, people.

2. When they burn and loot stores and homes, they target areas that are close to their homes. That makes no sense whatsoever. Why trash places that you would shop and that are there for your convenience?

3. Some of them want to be on the system forever. Some of them want to be cared for. How about making something of yourself? Before you change the system, take a look in the mirror and change yourself before your change other things.

I see where you're coming from but I feel like you're generalizing. The way you talk makes it seem like you think most African Americans "Portray" themselves in an indecent way.

The fact of the matter is that blacks get different treatment from (many) cops than whites. Sure they might've been criminals but its the idea that we are still treating people differently based on race that started this group.

"And above all the killing of blacks by other blacks which really ticks me off" Murder is murder. It's not suddenly worse because they killed "one of their own" that's a very primitive, and honestly stupid concept.

Spicy : At some point, racial profiling has to happen. It's not racism, it's a logical deduction. At the point where certain activities are most commonly perpetrated by people of a particular group or race, that banner or race becomes camouflage and you can no longer tell the difference without letting crap happen. It's inconvenient, it sucks, but it's necessary. Back when there was conflict in Northern Ireland, you would be pulled aside and interviewed if you flew into England and you had red hair, pale skin and freckles. Also, just my interpretation, but I got the impression that his complaint was more the fact that BLM completely glosses over black on black crime, probably intentionally. I agree with you that murder is murder and that the circumstances don't change anything, and I think that was his point.

My personal views of BLM are that they're actually much worse thank the KKK, at this point. I think white supremacy is crap and I don't always agree with their political views, but the Klan is fairly benign now. They hold rallies, they give speeches, they go home. And their within their rights to do so. BLM, on the other hand, goes out of their way to target police officers, riot, loot, commit arson and push to basically do away with civilized society. The Klan is a white supremacy group that is politically active and BLM is a MILITANT black supremacy group and should be labeled and dealt with as a domestic terror organization.

   Here is my two cents...

I have noticed degenerates of all races being treated like criminals by law enforcement with no proof of any law being broken by them specifically. Happens in every country every day, even when the populace at large is primarily one "so-called" race.

Guess what... in Japan, when a crime is accused and they don't have clear description of the suspect, the police there profile the kind of people who live most commonly in the area who are without a doubt... Japanese!  Tokyo has the highest conviction rate among their arrested suspects in the world. Their investigation methods are unlikely to need much tweaking.

It is an area specific tactic of deduction. You are most likely to be correct in assuming the general description matches up with what most people in an area generally look like. Then you can narrow it down from there and keep figuring it out until you have a short line up of suspects.

To be lucid, it has nothing to do with personal prejudices. It does relate to being proactive on crime and making a community safer which saves far more lives than it impacts directly.

 Does that make sense too?

You hit most of the nails right on the head with your post. These activists are all horribly misinformed, then some others just want an excuse to do whatever they want. I will never understand how, in order to combat the "racist" police who generalize them as violent thugs, they protest by being the violent criminals that make themselves, and their communities look absolutely terrible. And what really confuses me, is that the organization was started, and is heavily funded, by an old white guy. Now ain't that just quackin'
crazy?

As m0ss said, they are as bad as the KKK in some regards. Their manifesto and philosophies should honestly have them labeled as domestic terrorists. What they think about every other race out there is horrible, and they actively advocate for the deaths of them, as well as many religious groups. They riot and loot black communities, only shooting themselves in the foot as they try to show the racist police that they are peaceful people. They beat cops and onlookers to show how tolerant and misunderstood they are. As disgusting and horriffic as groups like the KKK are, the BLM groups are really all that and more.

Really, everything they have done only hurts their image more than anything else. The extreme racism on their part, the violence, the religious discrimination, what they say about the authorities and governments...It is literally everything that MLK Jr was against, to the very letter. The entire thing is a complete disgrace. They should all be deeply ashamed of their actions.
When an large group bands together to protest the death of a black person, yet in that very city, hundreds of black people kill each other and nothing is said about it? The biggest issue that these people and communities have is, they themselves don't believe black lives matter. Not as long as drug usage and thug behavior is widely praised. Nothing they want will actually change until they change themselves. The law isn't the enemy. The drugs, gangs, and plain laziness are what causes their communities so much grief.

I don't really have a strong positive or negative feeling about BLM. When it is not violent, there is no problem. However, it is confusing to me as to why they only protest for the rights of blacks. Innocent white, hispanic, and people of other races are killed by cops as well, but "white guy shot by cop" just doesn't sell headlines as well as "black guy shot by white cop" would, does it? Too many innocent people are killed, but it's not just cops. Cops are human too, it is unfair to pin the blame on them.

With that being said, how can any of us judge protestors? Unless you have been in a situation where you have been in extreme danger to a cop, how can you say what it is like? If you comply with the cop and he still has a gun pointed at a head will you be ok with that? On the other hand, how can people be so hard on cops as well? If a suspected criminal just went back into his car, you literally have no idea what he could be getting out, so you, naturally as a human being, go into primitive defense mode. It's pretty sad to see that literally any and every group is being generalized like this.

m0ssb3rg935 : It's a pretty unfair to compare a dormant organization to an active one. If you are going to compare, compare the two at their heights when white extremists were lynching innocent black men and women and literally anyone who disagreed with them. Also, it is unfair to compare an organization who terrorized a race other than their own just because they were different, and an organization who wants to protest racial issues. I'm not saying either one is good, but in my opinion, it's no contest, the KKK was much worse at its peak than the BLM is/was.

In the end, it's a really tough and convoluted issue. While it does raise awareness (which is a good thing), it has caused even more racial tensions and division. Like a lot of people have said, education is key, but not just for "blacks in da hood", but for EVERYONE.

RDay13 : But that's the thing. If I'm comparing them in their peaks, then they're exactly the same. That is, the Klan that was rebooted in the 20s, not NBFs original Klan, but that's another discussion. The Klan was against anything that wasn't white and BLM is against anything that's not black. They're the black Klan.

m0ssb3rg935 : I think you might have misunderstood the point I was trying to make. The KKK was a hate group that hated blacks even though they didn't even do anything to them, besides help them out. Whites took advantage of them for many years with slavery and then the KKK decided that wasn't enough and started killing people. Although I am not trying to justify BLM killings, one can make the case that was "in response to racial violence".What I am trying to say is that the KKK was an attempt to further discriminate a minority whereas BLM was an attempt to protest racial inequality.

RDay13 : But BLM isn't an attempt to protest racial inequality. BLM is first and foremost a hate group, as evident in their actions. No one has any problem with peaceful assembly and protest, but that's not good enough for them. The alleged racial inequality they're protesting doesn't exist on near the scale they claim, and if you ask them to explain their motivation and what they demand, it becomes clear that they do not want equality, but preferential treatment. Reparations for slavery isn't a request for equality when they've never been enslaved and we've never owned slaves. What happened to their past generations and what our past generations did has nothing to do with what either party deserves today.

I went into a office recently and I was the only white person in there out of a hundred people. I was called up almost immediately and the blacks probably thought to themselves (sheet wtf dis honkey getting special treatment for?) and my only answer to that is... I had an appointment! And to put the icing on the cake, the person I had meeting with was black!

Being a racist does not mean they will hang negros from trees or stack koreans 5 feet high and use them for sandbags. The movie Gran Torino is a nice little movie that really shows that you can be a racist but also a good person at heart at the same time.

There is misconception out there that if one is racist they will mistreat other races. That isn't necessarily true. In law enforcement it's ones JOB to profile suspects by race that is how they are able to identify potential suspects.

We all know the justice system is flawed and there are crooked cops. That is the way it has always been and always will be. No law or screening test will ever fix that. Putting in black people into positions of power also won't fix the problem, in fact, it could just make things even worse considering the black on black crime rates. The real winners here are those with money who can buy a nice attorney to get those out of jail free cards no matter what the crime is. There are white people who are probably sitting in a jail or prison as we speak who might be there for crimes they didn't commit so it's not just a black issue here.

Black Lives Matter, on paper, sounds like a good plan.

Except it became a reverse Ku Klux Klan.

So that's a thing.

Like, you know, the time they killed a bunch of cops for being white.

Or the time they stopped the paramedics from getting somewhere when a person was hurt because....???

Or how they use the teachings of Martin Luther King Jr (Who wanted racial equality) to justify they're need for black people to be superior.

Divine Aurora : Hello, Divine. Thank you for talking about something I despise. Where do I start?! BLM, despite coming from a just cause, has a very twisted morality; If he's white and shoots a black man, he's bad. If a black man shoots another, we really don't care. That's how they think. Like white-on-black violence is the only problem, people. Poverty, racism, black men killing each other daily, etc. There are more pressing issues at hand, folks. The whole deal about "All lives matter" seems contradictory to me. Sure, every human matters, but black people specifically have it the worst in America, more so than anyone. Maybe these guys should have acted like the Black Panthers. Maybe then they could be truly called "All Lives Matter".

m0ssb3rg935 : BLM is trying to protest what they view as racial inequality not the idea of black superiority. I think that's the point RDay13 is trying to make. The KKK on the other hand were advocating the idea a hierarchal society with white superiority. You can certainly argue that black and white people are already equal in the US and/or that the methods BLM use to get their message across are wrong but that doesn't change the fact that their intentions are very different.

Zlinqx : What they see as racial inequality is that they don't get special treatment in the justice system. It's like if I argued that I should get less severe punishment, if any, just because I claim I'm 1/16 Cherokee Indian and my people were oppressed.

m0ssb3rg935 :  Right, neither me nor RDay13 said we're BLM advocates though. They still believe  they're being unfairly treated by saying that black people are given more severe punishment than white people and pointing to shootings of innocent black people. Whether or not they are, unlike the KKK they don't follow an ideology of racial superiority. They're not advocating that white people are born inferior to black people or that black people should have power over white people.
