I first heard of it by playing the first MegaMan game at age 5 (maybe 6, not sure exactly when). I couldn't beat any of the robot masters in it for a long while, but I always loved playing through the different stages, and how it was practically different each time you played it.

I liked, and still like them because of their tried-and-true simplistic gameplay that grows more with each game, their awesome storylines, and their trademark characters such as ProtoMan, MegaMan, roll, Dr. Wily, and GeminiMan.
You can do what you want with the sea, but the rest of the sun belongs to me.

Geogree: MegaMan 3 is my favorite, and it's definetly the one i've played the most.

David: Yeah, MM10 is out, and yeah, it's for all 3 systems. It's awesome. I definetly like the older games better, but truth be told, a MegaMan game I don't like is almost nonexistent.

DarkHyren: My favorite power from the classic series is hands down the Gemini Laser from MegaMan 3. I find it to be an INCREDIBLY powerful and useful weapon, many bosses are weak to it, and it's GeminiMan's weapon. My favorite power from the X series is the Speed Burner from MegaMan X2, because it is a very powerful, useful, and fun weapon, and it's needed for several of the heart containers.

Crono: My favorite of those two is the X series, but the classic series beats them both. Zero is my third favorite series, after that it's pretty much a tie between all other series.

Saldek: The hardest game for me was the first MegaMan game. NO sub-tanks, overpowered enemies, the Copy Robot, and Wily stage 4. Pretty tough. My favorite as a character, of those 3, is MegaMan, but I like playing as X the best. :3

Bignate: My favorite robot master is GeminiMan from MegaMan 3. He appeared in several different games, and is much more unique and memorable than most, if not all other robot masters. The hardest to beat for me is BladeMan from MegaMan 10. He moves VERY erratically, and it's hard to hit him with the Commando Bomb in the correct fashion. His attacks are also prety hard to dodge.
