I'm currently absorbed in the newly-released MegaMan 10, and with it, I thought of something. With the few "Ask _____ anything!" Forums on Vizzed, I thought I might as well throw my hat into the ring.

Ask me anything about MegaMan.

Why do you like MegaMan? When did you first learn about it?

I first heard of it by playing the first MegaMan game at age 5 (maybe 6, not sure exactly when). I couldn't beat any of the robot masters in it for a long while, but I always loved playing through the different stages, and how it was practically different each time you played it.

I liked, and still like them because of their tried-and-true simplistic gameplay that grows more with each game, their awesome storylines, and their trademark characters such as ProtoMan, MegaMan, roll, Dr. Wily, and GeminiMan.

Which game in the series would you say is your favorite?

And which one do you think you've played the most number of times?

Mega Man 10 is out!?!?! It's for all 3 systems, right? MM9 is an awesome game, I'll be getting MM10 as soon as possible.

Another question, do you like the older retro Mega Man games or the newer Mega Man games?

Which is better, the MegaMan X series or MegaMan Zero?

Wow, so many questions in so little time! O_o

Geogree: MegaMan 3 is my favorite, and it's definetly the one i've played the most.

David: Yeah, MM10 is out, and yeah, it's for all 3 systems. It's awesome. I definetly like the older games better, but truth be told, a MegaMan game I don't like is almost nonexistent.

DarkHyren: My favorite power from the classic series is hands down the Gemini Laser from MegaMan 3. I find it to be an INCREDIBLY powerful and useful weapon, many bosses are weak to it, and it's GeminiMan's weapon. My favorite power from the X series is the Speed Burner from MegaMan X2, because it is a very powerful, useful, and fun weapon, and it's needed for several of the heart containers.

Crono: My favorite of those two is the X series, but the classic series beats them both. Zero is my third favorite series, after that it's pretty much a tie between all other series.

No, never played it. I like the Legends series, but they aren't my favorites. I just like the 3D aspect of them.

Which game in Megaman series was the hardest for you?

Which character do you like most: Megaman, Megaman X or Zero.

Which boss from the X series did you find the most difficult?

Velguarder Sigma, the final boss of MegaMan X. To this day, I cannot beat him without using at least one sub-tank.

Out of all the original series games (of course counting 9 and 10), which robot master is your favorite? Which one is the hardest to beat?

Saldek: The hardest game for me was the first MegaMan game. NO sub-tanks, overpowered enemies, the Copy Robot, and Wily stage 4. Pretty tough. My favorite as a character, of those 3, is MegaMan, but I like playing as X the best. :3

Bignate: My favorite robot master is GeminiMan from MegaMan 3. He appeared in several different games, and is much more unique and memorable than most, if not all other robot masters. The hardest to beat for me is BladeMan from MegaMan 10. He moves VERY erratically, and it's hard to hit him with the Commando Bomb in the correct fashion. His attacks are also prety hard to dodge.

What is a sub-tank?     0 

A sub-tank is an item in the MegaMan X games that are similar to E-tanks in the classic series in the sense that both refil the player's health. However, sub-tanks must be filled manually by collecting health pickups while the player is at full health and has at least one sub-tank not fully filled. Sub-tanks not fully filled won't heal the player fully. Sub-tanks must also me found manually, and they are hidden throughout the game's stages.

Are sub-tanks really hard to get? How long have you been playing Megaman?

Some sub-tanks are hard to get, some aren't. I have been playing MegaMan for 11 years.

Do you like the mega man battle network games? I've only played one or two, and thought they were alright, but what's your opinion on them?
