So I have now been 23 for half an hour here in New York. I didn't even realize it until just now when I looked up at the clock and thought for a bit and then the title was literally my expression. I'm not exactly sure if I should be happy or if I should try to hibernate for the whole year but here I am.

Hopefully being 23 isn't all that bad. Maybe I can has cake this year.

Really in reponse to some of these posts I would say you're all still very young, sure on vizzed anything around 25 or so is geezer status but in general you'd be told you still have most of your life ahead of you. I mean many consider 20s the peak of life.  When you start to approach your 40s you'll be looking back at this time with nostalgia probably wishing you could revisit it.

Thanks erryone. So far my birthday was pretty boring. I was only able to get 4 hours of sleep before I was forced to get up and do work. I don't even have to leave for another 4 hours and I can't go back to bed so I'm going to be stuck in boredom until then. Not to mention I'll have to walk a combined 2 miles in a feet of snow before I can even get anywhere

Heck, before I even get home tonight, which won't be until like after 11PM, I'll have to have walked about a mile in a foot of snow.

The day ended up being pretty bad in the end. First off I had a ton of trouble getting home in all of the snow and had to spend extra money in order to get back, when I got back, nobody said anything to me, and on top of all that, just before I went to bed, my phone plan had expired, so no more internet 24/7 for me until I can get some money.
