So let's assume for a moment that you've just landed a very, very long way away from home with millions upon millions of people watching. You're preparing to exit your ship and become the first in the history of man to set foot on the surface of Mars. Just making it there makes you a living legend and whatever you say next will be remembered for generations. In 1969, it was "That's one small step for a man, one giant leap for mankind." What would you say?

You can be as serious or silly as you want. Here's a list of ideas I had.

As for me, I'd probably quote a Bible passage in all honesty. Possible passages:

Knowing me, I would probably say some annoying crap like the scientists in Half-Life. "Greetings..." or "Please, leave me alone until after the experiment." Then there is Barney the Security Guard...lol "Hey catch me later I'll buy you a beer." Although if there is some sort of life on Mars, I doubt they would understand a damn thing I am saying. I'd probably say stupid stuff like "Where's the party? booze? babes?"
