So, these are my thoughts on Leafy and how he is involved in killing YouTube.


I really hate YouTube now. It's mostly just drama, nothing else. But who is causing it? It's mostly these 2 people: Leafy and Keemstar. There is a thread already on Keem, but this one is about Leafy.

Leafy is an emo-looking YouTuber who criticizes other people for their doings. Now, people take him way too seriously, though. It states in his description that he does it for fun and that his fans should not go and attack the people he does videos on, but his fans do anyway. It used to not be Leafy's problem, but now it is. He makes the videos because he makes money from them and his fans like them, but it makes the YouTube drama worse. Not only does it stir up more drama, but it's just cyberbullying basically. I think it's wrong that he is doing this, and nobody can stop him. Keem is a narcissistic, racist, 50 year old, and Leafy is an emo looking teenager who is not doing cyberbullying for fun, but now taking it seriously, while doing clickbait as well. I wish this world was more peaceful, but it obviously can't.

Remember, don't go flaming Leafy and Keem, as that will make it worse, and just try to help by doing nothing. Talk about how you feel about it here, and let the dilemma blow over.

I think saying that these two youtubers are the source of most youtube drama is gravely misrepresenting the problem. Don't get me wrong I'm no fan of either (in fact I purposely avoid them both) but even people who may have good intentions are contributing to the drama by making videos on the topic, blowing things out of proportion and spawning rabid fanbases that propel things even further. At this point I feel they're not much better than the people they're making fun of.

It's a large reason I stopped watching a lot of youtubers. I don't want to be involved (and quite frankly I don't have the time for it like I used to either). I'd recommend anyone who is truly tired of the drama to do the same. The way I see it a lot of people say they are, yet keep watching videos/channels that are part of it when it's not unavoidable. The fact of the matter is that as long as people keep flocking to the drama, nothing will change.

I have to agree what zlinqx is saying, that's why I avoid people like that so its not worth the trouble watching them really. I watch things that are worth seeing and watching as well, and with that I don't have stress about drama.

Eniitan : Yea, I've been avoiding them as well. It's the easiest thing to do, since you're not giving them views and attention.

OmegaVenomous : Good lol. Then you will see that your stress level from that will go away, and have relief for yourself.

If we want to kill off the cancers like Leafy and Keemstar,just refuse to watch their vids. Watch their subscribers abandon them and they will fade away. They are like an itch,if you keep scratching it,it bleeds and turns into a rash. But if you like gaming news,try Metal Jesus Rocks or Alpha Omega Sin.

Oldschool777 : Nah, I don't watch them. I watch people like PeanutButterGamer and Chadtronic, they are life.

AVGN is also pretty cool. I like him because he represents the gamer inside all of us that hates when games are crap and are allowed to exist. Like anything from LJN games.

I haven't paid attention to what Leafy has done as of late, but I know about 4 or 5 months ago he and some other dude were having Youtube drama against each other, and Leafy was exposed for being an idiot, etc. Personally I think all the drama was fabricated for views, and sadly that's what is popular right now. Look at Keemstar, he makes revenue and gets attention off drama. Granted I don't mind someone calling another person out on their crap, and I have done parody videos on Keemstar and Leafy, at least one, and I do one on DarkSydePhil, but I don't make one cent off of it, these clowns make revenue off of what they do. Also DSP has pretty much made himself a target because of how stupid he is, just go watch the "This Is How You Don't Play" series, or DSPisms.

Leafy is just a punk, and he's a nobody to me, and unfortunately he's going to be around for a while, because I don't see this type of video dying off, unless everyone stops watching. There are plenty of great Youtubers out there to watch, that deserve more views that is for sure.

Simply put, Leafy and Keemstar have no creativity or actual decent content. They piggyback off of other people and don't even provide adequate commentary like some people do. (pyrocynical for example)

Honestly yeah, youtube is pretty bad right now. I'm hoping things'll get better but I doubt it. Youtube doesn't care.

yoshirulez! : Yeah, I agree. I personally don't care for Keemstar, as he is always trying to start crap. Leafy just makes Let's Plays and picks on people. I understand fair use and Freedom of Speech, but some things should just not be allowed.
