So guys do some, or most of you take the time to look at the stars once in a while during the night time? How often do you do this? And when you do how does this comfort you and relax you in a way?For me it makes me to think about many things in life while other things. I like to look at the stars sometimes, since it always somehow leaves a smile on my face when done looking at them.

I don't, but that's mainly because you can rarely see them here. A good amount of stars are only visible maybe a few times a month but when they are, I guess they're pretty nice to look at.

zanderlex : Oh I see. But I do agree when they are seeable they are pretty cool to look at. I can't remember how visible they are in the UK though if I can remember its sometimes you can see them sometimes you don't.

Eniitan : not very often do I take the time to look up at the stars but one time when I was in the country I did look up and see the mini dipper and there was the time I was camping and saw the northern lights,it was so fascinating that I found it hard to keep my eyes off the sky so I ended up staring up for so long that I ended up with a sore neck

I can't really see them very well where I live. Nor is going outside at night really a wise idea. So...Yeah. I have pleasant memories of looking up at the stars though. It is all so beautiful though.

A user of this : well how I see them is that when I am coming back really late at night from somewhere with my mother is when I see the stars from my window. It doesn't always happen that much now so I do enjoy the times if I do get a chance of that happening again. To savour it while I can because stars are not always easy to see. Yes especially when there is a full moon. I will look to the sky and think how God is the artists and that he created all of this. It also brings a relaxing feeling too.

Never at home, since there's too much light and nothing to see. But whenever I was on holidays with my family - in, for example, Italy - me, my sister and my dad would occasionally watch at night. Eniitan : I always try to but, they hide from me . When they do decide to come out, it is one of the best sights. I love stars, anything astronomical really- I think there's so much beauty in them. It makes me feel small- reminds me how much more there's to the galaxy. I'd like to go to space... if I wasn't so claustrophobic that is lol

I live in a major metropolitan area, so the light pollution is pretty high. On clear nights, I can only see about 10 or so stars. However, I like to catch a good glimpse of the night sky when I'm out in more rural areas. When there's nothing drowning out the sky, it can be quite galactic.
