I've been watching it with my wife since it came out and we're enjoying it. I like how the show has it's "drama" but it is dealt with in a fairly light way for the most part. I don't feel like I'm being dragged through the mud when I watch this show and that is a pleasant surprise. I see enough shows that push the absolute limit on what they can get away with that it's nice to have a show that still has ups and downs without being extreme about it.

Anyone else watch this show? I realize it's not likely a show that teens would be into but I'm sure there are some others on the site who have seen it.

I'm not really a fan. I did watch the pilot back in September, and I tried to watch more, but I'm not a fan of how shows use past and present timelines like this. It's what turned me off to another show that I was so hyped for.

zanderlex : fair enough. The jumping around can be a bit confusing at times. It hasn't turned me off of the show though once I realized what was happening. I do question how long you can write a show this way though. How many flashbacks can you have before the story needs to just take place fully in the present.

geeogree : Well have you seen other shows that had this same premise?

I already had a bad experience with Quantico because of this. The show itself was great, but take for example having a main star in 90% of the show through flashbacks, but at the same time know that the character is dead in the present. Shows like this can ruin some character development, or just kill interest in some characters if it isn't done perfectly.

As long as the flashbacks aren't confusing I don't mind them. I'd rather get the story through watching it unfold than having it told to me by some character in 10 minutes of dialogue.

Did not know about it until now. I went ahead and clicked the link and read the summary, it sounds like something I could watch. I am not too crazy about family shows but, the fact that this is presented at different points in time sounds makes me want to watch it.

I like to see the consequences of our actions, which seems it is a theme in this series so I could easily get more into it. I'll check it out; I like original shows and not the same old vampire series that I am so addicted to. So, I'm guessing there's no crazy profanity, nudity, or the like? Just making sure since as you mentioned, it is quite expected on television in general and I'd like to see how they work out their problems, the last few shows/series I've seeing, a gun, stake, or fire seems to solve everything lol.
