  yesterday while I was responding to a thread my browser jammed up causing my post to be entered twice by accident and I was just wondering if there is some way the double post can be deleted since it is a duplicate,although my browser works pretty good it does have the tendency to freeze or jam up once in the while the browser that I use is firefox and my operating system is windows 7

It is technically possible but David removed the ability from everyone because it has been known to cause issues. Don't worry about the double post. It happens and there isn't much you can do about it. It obviously isn't intentional.

The best you can do is just edit the 2nd post until it's blank, or just edit it to say that it was a double post, at least that way people would know, even if there was a way to delete posts, it would really confuse things.

I think having the option to delete post was a bad idea from the start especially when an old banned user deleted all of his posts here forever ago. I think the worst case of multiple posts is when someone added 100 pages to a thread due to multiple posts. The thread is no longer here though since it glitched the database and removed only that thread which was very interesting
