A simple question,do you prefer having a bath or a shower? For me,it is a shower because it is faster and just feels nice standing under that big spray of hot water,of course some people find baths more relaxing but always showers for me,15 mins or so rather than an hour in the tub lol what do you prefer?

Baths are a waste of time. I only take showers since they are faster.
Baths are fine if you're into relaxation, which I'm not particularly interested in at the current moment

Shower hands down. It's faster and more efficient for me. I am a total idiot so, I like to shower to songs like Shrek (somebody once told me...), I like to Move it Move it, Circus Afro, and Mortal Kombat theme song and so I just dance like a moron. Not always but a good amount of the time I do this.  Plus, I like to  talk under the shower and reenact raining scenes from movies lol. I never grew up apparently so a bath would not be the best option for me and the water gets colder too which would not work for me.

My answer is definitely shower. I haven't had a bath in many years.

Showers. It is easier and faster, plus if you have a nagging pain, you can direct a shower blast at that spot.

sonicbros I always prefer to shower it,s  a lot faster and makes me feel much cleaner than having a bath and having to either stand or sit in dirty water in fact the only time I ever had a bath was when I was in a motel once and could not get the shower to work properly

Shower. I have the water insanely hot, so when I take a bath I can only stand about 10-15 minutes before I start overheating and I need to get out. Showers feel more relaxing for me.

As for answering your question, I do enjoy showering but I love baths more. To me, showering is for when I'm rushing to continue with whatever it is that I need to do and baths are for when I have time to soak and enjoy the feeling of the water lapping against my skin. With showers, I don't tend to think about what I'm feeling half of the time because my mind is usually concentrating on how I'll be approaching the next item on my list or schedule. For baths, however, I can push all the worries of the day out of my mind to think about the awesome or fun things that happened and make plans to make even more dreams come true.

Most of my best ideas usually come to me when I'm relaxed and happy and baths are one of the times when I'm the most stress-free, so I strongly feel that baths are essential to my well-being. =P At least that's what I say to the people around me that think I might be enjoying myself a little too much sometimes. XD

A bath might seem nice and extravagant, but I prefer showers; they're quicker, and they save water.

In my opinion, a jet of water would do a better job of cleaning you than sitting in it. And besides, after a few minutes in the bathtub, you'd basically be sitting in a pool of your own filth.

Showers, easy.

They're quicker, you waste less water, and standing up allows you to clean yourself better than you would while sitting down.

Baths also get cold after a while, while you could toy with the temperature of a shower to make it comfortable again~

I prefer the Japanese way of doing things if I have time.

First, you shower. You get all the sweat, the gunk, the yuck, and the day's dirt off your body. Be clean, be quick, and take a cool shower to encourage some blood flowing around. It'll wake you up and make you more alert and excited.

THEN you take the super hot bath and let your body melt into the water. It's called "onsen" in Japan. They have very public baths that are heated by the hot springs and the volcanic activity of the island. It's a resort feeling when you go.

But if I don't have time, I don't want to be lying in my own bath water, watching oil and soap and dirt float around me. That's just terrible. Showers for the win.

I definitely prefer showers, it's quicker (though I have thick hair so washing it takes a while) and it's also a lot more environmentally friendly in terms of saving water. Baths also get cold quicker which I don't have to worry about when showering as I can just adjust the temperature. I'm also one of those immature people who sings in the shower (couldn't say why since it's an urge I get exclusively while showering).

sonicbros :   I will take a nice hot, quick shower over a bath any day.  Something about sitting in my own filth for an hour or so just doesn't seem comforting to me.

It's pretty hard for me to get my hair clean in a bath because of how long it is. I almost always go for a shower over a bath. And as most others have stated, baths get cold and dirty pretty quick. Doesn't do a lot of good to soak if it's just gonna coat you when you stand up.

Showers for me. I mean a nice bath is enjoyable and all, but I usually stay so busy that I don't have time to sit and relax. Like right now...I should be sleeping, but I can't spare the time. Sad, but true.

I haven't had a bath in... At least 5 years. But I don't miss it, because I enjoy having a shower myself.

I prefer taking showers because they're faster and I like having a fast-paced life so sitting in a bathtub would drive me crazy. However, for the longest time I took baths. I used to be much more sensitive to water hitting me so being jet-blasted with shower water was my idea of a nightmare XD Ever since I adapted to showers, I've taken them. Starting last year, I take them every day (I used to take them every other day).

I've reconsidered, I might enjoy a bath now that I've chilled out a little, but I wouldn't do it with my current bath. I can't even relax properly because it's too small.

Easy! I would definitely prefer a shower over a bath:
1. Bathtubs are very uncomfortable for me sitting down and stuff and I doubt there are many bathtubs big enough for me
2. Showers are cleaner I think....for one the dirt on your body falls off of you and into the drain vs. the dirt falls off of you and into your bath water that you're cleaning yourself with!
3.I...Well I like to drink the water because idk why but I get thirsty around water andI'd much rather drink the water coming out of my shower vs. drinking the bath water that all my dirtiness has fallen into
4.I feel uncomfortable when I don't have a noise ringing and I am trying to relax, like when I'm trying to sleep, I usually prefer a fan or music to be playing over dead silence. The same applies to my cleaning environment; I'd much prefer the constant dripping and flow of water over the silence of me sitting in a bathtub, thinking about why I didn't take a shower XD
For me, showers just seem like a win-win situation.
