I've only quit once and it was because my employer told me they weren't going to pay me anymore. My reaction was essentially as follows:

"Oh, you're serious?"
*laughs out loud*
Bye bye. Have fun doing all that work yourself.

Yeah, no way am I going out in 112 degree temperatures to tend to your property so you can literally stick my pay in YOUR pocket. They were pocketing my pay, not the company.

Done laughing at them yet? Good because I'm still not.

So I quit. And guess who got my last week's pay.

Sorry to hear about something as that, but I see it was the best way how to let go of that job. You were not enjoying it, and I think taking in more hours of being a tutor will benefit you more. Since you enjoy doing that, and as said you would earn more money. You had your reasons to quit as long as the supervisor understands all is good from what you have stated. Its not always good to take up a job, that you would find boring since there wouldn't be any fun about it really. '-'

Mohammedrox3: Congrats! I did the 2 job thing before, but it was 1 FT and 1 PT. It sucked. It felt like all I did was work, lol. Enjoy your extra down time.

Without going into a bunch of personal stuff all I can say is that it was an apartment complex I lived in and they claimed that they never received the rent.
