I recently went to see my doctor about getting an allergen test..he kind of laughed at me when I told him what for... I seriously think I am allergic to my own sweat. Its not weird or anything, right? Its nor a for-sure thing but every day at work my arms flare up and kind of have trouble breathing. Oh and one time my throat closed up when I had a mango-carrot smoothie. Other than that, I don't think there's anything else.

I have been one of the humans blessed enough to not be allergic to anything! Despite that, whenever I put on Old Spice shampoo, I always get really itchy and stuff. Can anyone tell me if that is an allergic reaction or not? I can't tell....

PoptartSlayerXD : I don't know whether or not I'm qualified to say it's an allergic reaction, but I know I experience the same thing. I've never used Old Spice, but I have used Axe and it's just not comfortable. I actually use women's shampoo and body wash because it's the only thing I've found that doesn't make me itch. lol.

Crazy man same here! XD I used St. Ives. I don't have any problem with cologne at all, though. I wear Old Spice cologne all the time and never itch, I guess it is just the shampoo.

So far, I have discovered not a single allergy of mine. So at the moment, all I can say is: I don't have any.

Reibis :
There are people allergic to water. So it doesn't sound too weird (imo) to be allergic to your own sweat. Just please don't be allergic to water, it's not a fun life like that (and hard to find help I think because there are less than 40 confirmed cases of being allergic to water. That's not a lot compared to 7-8 billion people. That's, like, literally a huge percentage into the commas (5.263157894736842e-9 or something assuming 7.6 billion and 40 people) and I don't understand how numbers like that one work lol.)

I like how my actual post is shorter than my reply lmao.

I took an allergy test this morning and now I know my official allergies. I'm allergic to so many things, most of my allergies being moderate and some severe, but none mild. :o

I'm mainly allergic to tree pollen, grass, and dust mites (oh good grief ). The worst of these is tree pollen. I figured that from the beginning and I'm happy to know I was right. However, I wasn't expecting the other two. I mowed the grass just recently and I wasn't having crazy allergies afterwards, just a little bit of sneezing and runny nose.

I think I'm allergic to dust. My parents discovered it ever since I was a baby since my mom brought me looots of plushies. I started coughing a lot when they were around me, so they had to get rid of them.

I don't know what's in the air, but I am definitely allergic to the Silicon Valley flora. Never before (expect maybe in Quebec) had I sneezed so much. At first I thought I was only allergic to birch pollen, but now I must have developed an allergy to grass too since pollen indicators only show that kind of pollen in the air.

Remember when I posted here and I said I wasn't allergic to anything?

Yeah, this summer, I just found out I actually am allergic to a few things.

First, it's mosquitoes. I have always been bitten by them every summer (or when I'm in the heat), but then I found out that when people get mosquito bites, their bites are rarely ever as swollen and as red as mine are... which is what all of my bites are every time a mosquito bit me.

And then yesterday, my grandma got me these earrings (along with a bracelet), and I wore them. They were a lot like the ones my other grandma got me, so I wore them. When I wore the ones my other grandma gave me, I had no problem with them. When I wore the news ones, however, I woke up with a pink eye and a swollen earlobe ;-;

Thankfully, it's nothing severe.

I am highly allergic to the mold that grows on food. Like a microscopic colony can give me a rash. If I touch/breath the mold when you can see it, it can kill me. That's why I never eat store bought fruit or vegetables, I get farmers market or I glean for it.

I also use to be allergic to the poison plants (ivy, oak, sumac).

And apparently I'm allergic to something in Dawn dish washing soap (probably a bacteria that got resistance and snuck in during production). It forms there's really nasty bumpy rashes that looks like shingles or herpes. I stay away from it now.

I would say that I'm not allergic to anything in particular besides the usual pollen. Every time pollen season comes around, I get pretty sick. At the very least a bad cold.

Yeah so....I found out that I am allergic to something else called *Shea Butter.* Its a cream. I know some are, but I tried it out on my face only for the next day to have red rash appear all over my face which wasn't a pretty site at all. I only use it to moisturize my hair which it loves so I do my best to avoid my face when doing it.
