I was actually pretty surprised I somehow placed in the top 3 yesterday considering I think that one post was the only one I made.

You should definitely go for the over all Yellow man. At this point there should be very little in your way of getting there, and if I remember the scores correctly, you'd only need to manage an average of 2 to 3 points a day or so to pull it off ( and we all know how extremely capable you are when it comes to pumping out the word count XD lol ).

But it all comes down to if you want it. I'd really like to see you win it, but I'm not trying to pressure you or anything ^^

Sanspai : I stand a chance at it mathematically speaking, but it all comes down to how much competition I get from users who have a lot of points in it already. I could swoop in and take it today but I don't want to do so this late. As I said the other night, I don't want to seem like a jerk stealing jerseys at the last minute (and it's still legal for me to post a huge post for it right now). I'll wait and let it go tonight. Hopefully that doesn't knock me out of contention. I haven't studied the numbers and frankly I don't understand the system. Lol It seems to imply first gets five points, second gets four, etc. yet there are such things as "seven pointers"... Not sure if all jerseys actually award seven points to first and second gets four while third gets three etc. or what. Any idea? :/ I've never actively competed so aside from watching for cheaters I have no real knowledge of how it works, and I've actually missed a few rules before myself.

Lol I don't see you fighting too hard for it though since you could stop competing and still have rainbow locked away. Also if you understand the point system fully, please read my reply to Sanspai and see if you can explain it to me. I'm such a noob, been a Local for what...three and a half years and yet I don't understand the TdV scoring system. That's never been an issue for a Local though so...

No worries man lol.

You have the First = 5, Second = 4, and so on down to Fifth = 1 point part right.

A 7 pointer is when the user in First for any Jersey scores Double or more than the user in Second. So if you have 3000 words in a day for Yellow, as long as Second has 1500 or less, then you get 7 points for that Jersey instead of 5. This applies to all four Jerseys individually, so long as you Double the score of the user who places Second. This bonus only applies to the person in First, so Second place would Not get any bonus for doubling Third.

Yeah I nearly had Blue until Vanelan jumped in and went all post crazy on me. I never stood a chance against his mad skills.

Yellow is a bit more intense now than it has been for the past week or so. No way is that much of the TdV dead. The Blue is easier than usual and Red and Green are far less competitive than at the start of the month, but honestly that's typical of late month TdV.

I just had to stop the title from being legacyme3 x 4. I couldn't let it happen.

Man, it would have been nice to get 4 jerseys and remind people of why I was such a force in the first three TDVs.

Unfortunately though, I can't rate 80 screenshots like gamer can, and wasn't about to re-install the plugin to take screenshots to boost my total. Did pretty much all I could do, so it's whatever.

If this holds up, it will be the first time I've been in the top 10 in a TDV in a long time.

I'm not sure if that's really cool, or really sad.

On the one hand, you have a job now, so you can't really do as much. On the other, I'm working more than ever (I spend 60 hours a week at either school, work, or doing homework on campus), and somehow find myself in the top 10 again.

It's been a weird month.
