I have a script which automatically prevents too much back and forth posting. When someone reaches the limit, it gives them a message where the Reply button letting them know to wait for others to reply before they can reply again.

At some point when I made an update to this script in the past, it resulted into the script being a little too district and inaccurate. This should now be fixed. I also completely removed the limit for staff members.

I'm going to use this opportunity to also go over how this system works.

For most forums, the most amount of back and forth posts you can make is 4. What this means is that over the span of 8 posts, if 4 of them are yours, you can't make any more posts, forcing a user to have to wait for someone else to respond before they can reply to the thread again.

Not all forums have the 4 back and forth post limit. The following forums have a strict limit of 3:
-Crazy House
-Vizzed Market
-Polls and Questions
-Web Splurge
-Stories / Simulation / Art

The following forums have a more lenient limit of 5:
-Help / Questions / Suggestions
-Retro Game Room

If a thread is your own thread, the limit is multiplied by 3.

Moderators : Letting you all know that this issue is finally fixed. If users are still having issues with it or if you have any suggestions, be sure to let me know right away.

Thanks with these updates David, good to know this now that it has been fixed. I'm going to have to be careful with my posting, but then again....its been a long time since I last hit it so I should do fine. Its always best to extra careful of these things. It wouldn't be pleasant to see when you hit that wall. @.@
