I've added a new tag tag to the list of content hiding tags. This one lets you hide content until a thread is closed. In other words, while a thread is open, the content is hidden. Once the thread is closed, the content is visible.

There's not a lot of examples of when this would be useful but the primary use for this would most likely be for competitions where users could submit their submissions without others seeing it (like the music competition threads that I host). Another type of thread where this would be useful is a voting thread where you wouldn't want others to see what everyone else is submitting, reducing the risk of lazy users just copying and pasting what everyone else is saying (like the vizzed awards).

I'd also like to point out that admins can't see the content either. The reason that this is nice is so that admins don't accidentally see what other users are posting when they don't want to.

I still don't get the tag things....well I guess in a small way they help? I haven't really gotten into them properly since you made them. So I still find them pretty awkward. :/

Are owners still able to see the content in closed tags? I'm assuming that owners and admins are differentiated in the code.

Because idk how you compile the music for the music competitions, but getting all the music between the thread closing and starting the steam sounds kinda stressful (or maybe it isn't for what I know) compared to getting the music as people submitted them. But maybe you do it all at the end anyways so...

Sanspai : Good question. Thread owners can't see the content just like everyone else.

Actually it's more convenient and less stressful for me to take care of all the songs submitted to a music competition after it's over. Taking care of it all at once is so much faster. If I were to do it as users submit songs, then I'd have to go through and update my list when users edit their posts to change their submissions or add submissions to their post.

If there are closed tags then there should be open tags where the content is hidden until the thread is opened. If this idea sounds dumb then please disregard this ASAP.
