I can see both sides of the argument. On one hand, it could be taken as a compliment. On the other, I would be pretty creeped out if I was a 13 year old girl and being checked out by a 20-something year old guy.

Anyway yeah if I understood this correctly I would agree. One usually doesn't think much about it in a country like the US but there are many countries in the world where commenting on someone's "womenhood" despite the person being a kid, isn't just acceptable but almost the norm so they don't think much about it.  Leads little girls into a life of fixation about body image and is the kind of thing that promotes gender segregation. I think hopefully as society develops cultures and people in general will move away from that more and more.

Either way while it's a creepy comment to make at least I doubt the vast majority have any ill intent by making it. So there's that.

There's a very good chance you're just misunderstanding their intentions behind the words, but I digress.

Anger is an unusual reaction to someone being creepy about other people.

And really, the comment section of YouTube and every other video sharing site is a dumpster fire and you should never visit that place.

Try reading comments from Jezebel.com. Holy heavens! That place is full of anger, hate, whackos, and creepers.

And YouTube is worse. Some girl could be completely undeveloped and she's 6 years old and people are making comments about her.

It's a weird place. I avoid it as much as possible. Comment sections? I'll pass. I'll just enjoy the video and continue with my life.

Okay yes I do agree that the sexualization of girls, especially underage ones is really gross, but what I'm more interested in how did you use the words like "arbitrary" in the same text that replaces "are" with just "r"?

Wait what? Was this on a show or something? Or did this happen to one of your friends. I am quite tired right now, but wow never ever read while tired. Tired reading is horrendous this prolly does make more sense when someone is awake, but I have no idea what is going on, anyways I hope you or your friend gets over the situation and everything gets better here.

Maybe it's just my interpretation of her words, but I think y'all are missing the boat. Yes, talking about 13 year old girls is kinda creepy. I think the main point she was trying to make was that some girls are naturally bigger, or more curvy, or just more "developed" in general, if you know what I'm saying. She's saying that it is wrong to be like "she's very big for a little girl" or something like that. It's not the fault of the kid that they are naturally bigger than most other kids their age (unless they did it synthetically).

RDay13 : In that case, I guess it just comes down to politeness in speech. Something like "You're how old? You're very mature for your age." Something along those lines. My mother will say aloud in public things like "I think my boobs are too big for this shirt..." and I'll just stand facepalming.

Since no one has mentioned this yet, I figured I'd add the possibility for people to just be in disbelief based on appearances. Even without regards to sexual appeal or other sexual aspects, sometimes younger teens just look more mature. There are several times where I've found myself saying those words "He/she is only 14?" when just watching the news or something and a teen is being interviewed.

Like I just graduated college with 20 year old people and some of these teens look more aged than my peers, so yeah it's worthy of a bit of shock on my end. Not all similar comments are made due to attraction, just thought I'd point that out. 

While it is a bit of a weird thing to say, as zlinqx said, they have no ill intent.

I can see why it's a bit creepy. People just don't realise that it is themselves. Also don't get ''grossed out'' by comments on a yt video cuz if u do then its just best not to go there lol.

It is a bit surprising that kids are developing faster physically than they have in the past. But maybe not so,given people evolve and we have better health care and such. It is a bit of a shock when you see or hear of 13 year old kids having bigger breasts than a full grown woman. I would just hope that their emotions and the minds evolve at the same rate as well.
