so this is kind of arbitrary but it makes me so mad

yea a teenager just said they gon b mad brace urselves n spare me any comments mentioning the "whiny lil ppl" archetype i mean i'd appreci8 it w/ all my heart but i've already had a buncha self-esteem boosts lately so it's ok don't feel u gotta add to that sweetie : ) < 3

anyway it makes me so mad  when ppl say s*** like "wow she's only 13???" 

like 1st of all is the obvious part in that it's creepy but it's also like??? pointless??? like ok thanks for the utterly useless contribution

I can see both sides of the argument. On one hand, it could be taken as a compliment. On the other, I would be pretty creeped out if I was a 13 year old girl and being checked out by a 20-something year old guy.

One usually doesn't think much about it in a country like the US but there are many countries in the world where commenting on someone's "womenhood" despite the person being a kid, isn't just acceptable but almost the norm so they don't think much about it.  Leads little girls into a life of fixation about body image and is the kind of thing that promotes gender segregation. I think hopefully as society develops cultures and people in general will move away from that more and more.

Anger is an unusual reaction to someone being creepy about other people.

And really, the comment section of YouTube and every other video sharing site is a dumpster fire and you should never visit that place.

Try reading comments from Jezebel.com. Holy heavens! That place is full of anger, hate, whackos, and creepers.

And YouTube is worse. Some girl could be completely undeveloped and she's 6 years old and people are making comments about her.

I think the main point she was trying to make was that some girls are naturally bigger, or more curvy, or just more "developed" in general, if you know what I'm saying. She's saying that it is wrong to be like "she's very big for a little girl" or something like that. It's not the fault of the kid that they are naturally bigger than most other kids their age (unless they did it synthetically).

Since no one has mentioned this yet, I figured I'd add the possibility for people to just be in disbelief based on appearances. Even without regards to sexual appeal or other sexual aspects, sometimes younger teens just look more mature. There are several times where I've found myself saying those words "He/she is only 14?" when just watching the news or something and a teen is being interviewed.

Like I just graduated college with 20 year old people and some of these teens look more aged than my peers, so yeah it's worthy of a bit of shock on my end. Not all similar comments are made due to attraction, just thought I'd point that out.

It is a bit surprising that kids are developing faster physically than they have in the past. But maybe not so,given people evolve and we have better health care and such. It is a bit of a shock when you see or hear of 13 year old kids having bigger breasts than a full grown woman. I would just hope that their emotions and the minds evolve at the same rate as well.
