Ah.... youth. The springtime of youth. A magical time in life, in between late adolescence and early adulthood where we can dance the night away, and let go of our worries (temporarily). Lots of teenagers liked to party or go to prom to enjoy their final years in high school. Adults might party afterwards when given the time. However, I don't party. Being as I'm not very social or friendly, I'd just make myself incredibly awkward. I never desired to go to prom either; I always felt I'd just be a laughing stock or viciously ignored. It's not for me.

Do you like partying? If you do not, what do you do when a party is going on? Thanks for coming here to answer my questions.

I do like partying. I don't do it often, because it puts a strain on my body, but I like to do it from time to time.

Whenever we party, alcohol is heavily present in our table, which helps us to loosen up and enjoy a very good time. It's true that sometimes the party goes out of hand, like that time where we had more than two litres of alcohol per person, but once in a while is good to feel free without any worries troubling your mind.

I don't think I'll party that often from now on, though. I live quite away from my friends and most of the party places, and travelling in public transport during the night is tedious, so I obtained my driver license to freely move through the city. This means I won't be able to drink much alcohol, so my only hope is that my friends start to use the car as well so we can shift the "non-drinker" badge between us at every party we attend.

I used to party. I used to drink a ton, laugh, be loud, hang out late, and the parties I went to were fun. No one ever got into fights, it was about dancing, games and sports, meeting people, and socializing.

I've never seen a party the way movies show high school parties. I've been to many that look like how they're portrayed in college. Those are more accurate.

But parties are fun. You get to cut loose, you get to ignore the troubles of the day and enjoy being around other people. I like dancing with women and my wife isn't a dancer so she'd rather talk or play a game while I go hit the dance floor (Read: living room with furniture pushed aside) and go bump and grind with girls. At least when we were younger we did it that way.

Now it's bars for sporting events. We haven't gone clubbing in a long time but I like that sort of event too. I'm 35, so clubs are usually out. Weddings are in. And live music. To me all that is covered under the phrase 'partying.'

Life is one big party. That's how I treat it.

Heh... Not even a little bit. I don't like crowds of strangers, let alone crowds of strangers that are WAY too close to me, and smelling like alcohol. Honestly, when I even smell alcohol, it nauseates me, and I get headaches. I've never liked the taste, and I physically cannot stand the smell. I haven't even been to a club, or a house party, and I know I never will.

I didn't even go to my prom... Just wasn't interested.

I don't do drugs either... I just cannot stand putting anything inside my body that would alter my normal thought processes... I love the way I think, and wouldn't change that for anything... I don't need, or want, alcohol or drugs to have fun... I'm weird, but I'm awesome. XD

I don't like partying. It's never been my "scene", if you dig. I'm not one of those cool cats that can stand super loud lame music, heavy and intense drinking, taking an obscene amount of drugs, or any of that other stuff that happens at parties. I can't say I know too much about them though. I've never been to any, nor invited to any.

I prefer a peaceful, quiet life. My idea of fun is video games with a friend or two, watching  stupid videos, and putting on a few movies. All the loud music, tons of people I don't know, the drinking, drugs, "grinding" with girls and more....Yeah, no. That never appealed to me. Never been my idea of fun. I may be a square, but at least I know what I enjoy doing.

I hated "partying". Get me 4-8 people together for a quiet evening and that is more what I enjoy. Big parties with loud music and lots of drunk people is not the kind of stuff I enjoy.

I would rather watch a movie with some people or hang out and make dinner and have music in the background and chat all evening.

Not consistently. I'm very much an introvert and like having a lot of alone time and when hanging out with friends we're pretty much never more than 2 or 3 people total at a time. However if it's just with people I somehow know or am at least acquainted with (like friends or classmates) in a somewhat secluded area then yes it can be fun once in a while. Allows you to just sort of relax, take your mind off other things and socialize with people. Keyword is once in a while though as in not several times a month. That would get very tiring very quickly.

If you mean going to a club then no, I wouldn't enjoy only partying with complete strangers. I've been asked a few times by people I know if I want to go out but I pretty much always decline. 

Yeah I like parties! But I really don't party all that often. I prefer hanging out with a few friends. First of all, we have more control over the direction the events take. If we wanna play Smash Bros., we can do that. If we wanna go out to Taco Bell, we can do that without a long wait and divided groups. We have more time to talk about interests, cares, etc. without interruption. We can feel more comfortable talking about certain things. But I don't really hang out with friends all that often, either. Man, I miss real life. I'm really introverted now, except on the internet. I mean, if people would reach out to me and ask to hang out, I'd totally be down for that. But me going out and asking? Tough stuff. But I'm gonna have to get to it sooner or later, and I can't complain. Life is still good, even if it's not ideal.

I have social anxiety. That about tells you everything

Man, I love partying, I'd go out partying every weekend if I could! Get three or four good friends together and head down to the pup, then talk to some mysterious stranger sitting in the dark corner. He usually tells us about some treasure he was hunting, but it was too deep in the dungeon. So me and my friends look at each other, and we each say, "Okay."

So we head out to the enchanted forest or mystic mountains or whatever, fight a few manticores, some dragons, and wham bam thank you ma'am, a huge pile of gold and platinum, enchanted swords, flying carpets, you name it! Easily the best way to spend a fortnight that doesn't involve dying of dysentery. (Tip: You will probably still die of dysentery.)

The only party I enjoyed was a laser tag birthday party when I was younger like 10 years old. We had cake,  we shot each other up (not with heroin like at the other parties) and that was it. We didn't wake up hungover nor did we make unnecessary babies with strange women that we do not know.

I don´t go to parties because they usually don´t have any games to play, and if there are, it´s ussually just Darts. I´ve yet to find parties that have more activities in them than just dancing and music.

When I was younger of course I did, I think between 17 and 21 I did a lot of partying, a lot of drinking, never touched any drugs, smoked cigs and cigars here and there, but after I turned 21, I slowed down quite a bit, there were times me and friends were partying 3 to 4 times a week, either just 5 or 6 of us hanging out, sometimes it was 9 or 10 of us, and sometimes we would go to parties with 30 to 40 people, although that lead to idiots trying to start fights, so we mainly kept it to a small group of people. Definitely a lot of good times. In this day and age, I don't mind partying a bit, not all the time, because it's expensive, the way booze is now, I am not made of money, therefore I am not partying all the time. Plus my friends are busy, they are spending time with their wives, girlfriends, etc. Maybe they are working a ton, and of course I am spending time with my girlfriend, and just busy with other things. There are times though we all get together, hang out, have some drinks, maybe go get some food, and just talk, and have some laughs. That is what happens when you get older lol.

Yes to some extent, but not go out every time to one. I only go to some occasional ones and when I do go to a party I make sure I enjoy myself. In also hopes that they play some or most of my favourite music's I would dance too. Its fun to go to party at times. It depends what they have for fun there. It can be fun at times while at other times there are boring ones.
