Everyone should know by now that I love the Bomberman franchise so when I saw that Watch Mojo did a top 10 video for Bomberman games, I was incredibly excited to watch it. I don't always agree with their lists but this top 10 list was well done and I 100% agree with their #1 pick lol.

I actually saw that list last night, and my first reaction was "I wonder what David's going to think of this?" I can't really give an opinion on the list because aside from Bomberman '94, I haven't played any of the other games in the series enough to know how good they are. It was an interesting list, and

I absolutely loved the anime-like cutscenes... If there really was a Bomberman anime or cartoons, I'm definitely adding them to my watchlist lol

Bomberman 64 looks like a very great game, with all those 3D effects it looks almost better than the PSX games. I definitely have to give it a try, promises to be bloodily fun. And well, what to say about the sequel... Even more impressive!

How surprising to see Bomberman Generation just as honorable mention when Jetters was in #10. I know there are big difference between those, but so big that one is top 10 and the other just a honorable mention? That Dodge Battle Mode was amazing, definitely the best mode I've ever played in Bomberman.

Well, for a second I thought Bomberman 94 would be the number one, but obviously even with the technical limitations and how great it looked compared to other games, it still falls a bit short to Saturn. That multiplayer board with 10 players is just too awesome to deserve least than the top spot.

It was a fun video to watch, really. Not a fan of people making top 10s, but you never know when can you find something very interesting.

Watching WatchMojo? David, I really thought you were better than this. :'(

I forgive the pleb taste, this video was pretty neat! Bomberman definitely deserves all the love it has, and at least 3 times more!

gamerforlifeforever : That is by far the best Bomberman game ever made. I'm one of the few that I know that has been fortunate enough to experience the multiplayer in that Bomberman. I had a multitap when I was younger and I'd play it with 2 of my friends and it was a blast. Beyond the 10 player mode, the game had the best selection of abilities/powerups, great levels, mechanics, the only Bomberman I can think of that had post round and post game statistics, a great story mode which had co-op, etc.

EX Palen : In some ways you could say Bomberman '94 got 2nd place because Mega Bomberman for the Genesis is basically Bomberman '94 with a few small differences (and 4 players instead of 5).

A user of this : Yeah it's too bad that we may never see a new Bomberman game ever again thanks to Hudson Soft going out of business and Konami obtaining the franchise and holding it hostage.

10 player bomberman? You know this means we have to get a Saturn tournament going...

Vanelan : As far as I know, there's no way to netplay Saturn games yet but Mednafen recently added Saturn support and I'm sure it'll get netplay support added in the near future. When that happens, I'll be investing a good amount of time playing that with users, even if it's outside of the RGR Plugin.

merf : Oh that's awesome! I rarely pay attention to those but it's cool to see the Vizzed Channel get some publicity. I actually watch a lot of their videos and have always wondered why they've never used Vizzed gameplay so I'm happy that they finally did

Davideo7 : Perhaps there is a dedicated Saturn emulator that can do it. I'll look into it some time.
