We all have desires, which I've touched upon. We can be affectionate, which we've also discussed. Now, let's talk about what we love in our lives. Be it our families, friends, or anything in particular, there must be something you all adore. Love is a beautiful thing, and the proper amount of it can positively benefit the lives of others. It'd be kind of selfish to say I love your responses on my threads, but doesn't everybody? I love the enthusiasm and warmth of what I've read from you guys. It's wonderful.

What do you love in life and why? Do you love or respect more? Thanks for caring about my threads. 

Family my friends. Another thing I love is making people happier more than myself when I have seen I have helped someone, and they shine in happiness from that. You just can't help, but to love that because you helped someone from a dark pit of trouble. I love to play games, and do most hobbies. I have way too much to count by for with what I love doing in my life. XD

I'm a Catholic guy and I run a fitness center in a very diverse area, ethnically, religiously, nationality-wise, and age-wise and so on.

It was 6:15am the other day, and I was opening with my trained named Mostafa, a Muslim Syrian who is extremely smart and good at his job.

He said, "Hey, Boss, come outside for a minute."

I walked outside. There are no tall buildings to the east of us and we had a panoramic view of the sunrise. There were clouds all over and the sun lit them up as it peeked over the horizon. The reds, oranges, yellows, and the dark blues and purples behind us must have been one of the most beautiful things I have ever seen. The two of us, grown men, didn't have to say anything to enjoy the view. Traffic was light on the highway nearby so cars didn't really interrupt the experience and we stood next to each other, completely different from each other, and shared the same moment.

Before we walked in, Mostafa said "Menshallah" which is Arabic for "It is beautiful," and I nodded.

I love shared experiences between people. We're social animals deep down and we just want to be accepted and share thoughts, feelings, and experiences with each other. When it happens to perfection, that is love.

Its that simple.

I love seeing people smile true smiles. Not the whole "fake it 'til you make it" stuff. That's a bunch of bulhockey. Practice makes permanent. Perfect practice makes perfect. When I see the light in the eyes of someone who is living up to their potential, I feel blessed to be able to see that. It is something very valuable in any age, and is rare today among any people, I feel.

I also love seeing people put aside their complaints and replace that with praise. To praise people for trying, not complaining that they failed to do what was expected of them. Praise is so rare in my family, even from me. Bitterness seems to be common. So when I do hear legitimate praise from them for anyone, I tend to smile, because that helps me know that we all can improve, and it helps me feel more comfortable doing the same.

Ghostbear1111 : Reminds me of "Ender's Game". I read that recently, and recall that a Muslim boy influenced Ender deeply. He spoke "salaam" (peace) in a time and place that boys were pitted against each other to prepare for war against a supposed enemy. When Ender ended up destroying that enemy unknowingly, it deeply affected him, and he became the Speaker for the Dead to memorialize the race he almost completely destroyed. I love stories like that. Although they may be fiction, they speak great truth and warnings. They may not be fun reads, but the wisdom gained by listening to the messages within teach so much about what kind of people we should be, and the kind of people others are. I, for one, rarely enjoyed reading "Ender's Game". It was filled with profanity, vulgarity, and violence. But I learned about how much children are influenced by adults and each other, about the cost of violence, about the pain of it, and ultimately, about who we are and what we can become.

I'll answer both the love and hate questions in this thread, since I don't really think they needed separate threads in the first place....

I love when people are considerate and actually show they care about you. I love that feeling of someone showing their appreciation of you. I think the thing I love most though is when someone legit makes me laugh or I make them laugh. It's a pretty cool feeling. 


I hate hypocrisy. When someone preaches something and doesn't do it, or even worse does the exact opposite. I also hate arrogance in most forms. If you're gonna do it as a joke, then it's totally fine, and I occasionally do that myself. It's when someone is actually arrogant and so conceited to the point where they think they're Jesus Christ himself is what pisses me off.

I love my family, pets, friends, nature, gaming, P-I-Z-Z-A x 10. I love more than I respect- there aren't that many people that I would say I respect beyond the normal respect that is given to each human being or living organism. I love meeting new people, visiting new places, learning new cultures, reading, and anything that has to do with vampire/werewolf romance (yeah I know typical right). I just love like a normal person and seem to love very stereotypical things but, there's very little I wouldn't do to help someone I love if I am capable of. I think love is a beautiful thing and necessary to live a  healthy life- specially self love.

I love life as it is right now. I love how it has improved so much over the years and how happy I am currently.

I love my friends. They are always there for me to support me and make me feel good about myself.

I love my sister. She is amazing and creative, and I adore her talent in drawing and writing.

I love some of my teachers, both current and past teachers. They are incredible and have encouraged me during tough times. 

I love food. This may be why I'm fat... but even I hate the idea of starving myself just to lose weight. Food is just too good.

I love Vocaloid, utattemita, and odottemita. They are interesting and make me smile.

I love TheRunawayGuys and Venus Angelic. They are my favorite youtubers and they always make me smile.

I love many things that can keep me going in life, leaving a positive impact and making me smile as I go on

I love very specific people. These people probably know who they are. The love isn't purely romantic, some of it is platonic, but it's still love.

I also love the idea of love. There's a lot about it I don't understand and every interaction hopefully gets me closer to understanding it as a general idea.

My reply was almost going to be just the slang word for a woman's breasts and nothing else, but I decided that was too inappropriate. Although, that is something I do love a fair bit.

I guess a better thing to say would be I love my friends, and I especially love my Girlfriend. they are all like the family I never had, and I am sure that when I eventually come out to my real family and get kicked out I'm sure one of them will adopt me (Hopefully not my girlfriend, that would make things a bit weird)

I also love mountain dew and energy drinks, seeing as I have problems with sleep, and need something to keep me going during the day

And knitting... which.... I have developed an obsession with over the past few days... heh

My family, GF, my dog , etc.

I love certain activities like sleeping. I love food. 


Though of course it depends on what kind of love we're talking about here.

Love is an illusion. True love of something has to do with caring about something so deeply that it takes priority over all other things, regular love is just a lie. Affection isn't love.

That being said, I absolutely love being a downer. Happy new year everyone.

Music is also the other thing that i love and i always passionate about, making music is what keeps me feel alive.

Right now, all I can think about is my dog. Besides family, he is my life.
