So... I have told some of my friends about this already but I feel like I might as well tell everyone...

My sister has Mustardphobia. She not only hates mustard so much, she's way too afraid of it. She goes extremely insane if she just sees a bottle of mustard, even if it's just a picture of it. She breaks stuff, destroys stuff, yells, attacks... etc just from mustard.

I don't know what to do, but it's hilarious. (lol) Do you guys have any irrational fear of anything? Do you know anyone like this? How do you deal with it? What's your experience with this? lol

I don't have a fear to anything as crazy as mustard, I just have normal fears to like spiders and stuff. 

We have discussed ways to scare her with mustard, like just putting it places, and it would be pretty great for america's funniest home videos. 

I don't know anyone with fears that crazy (that I know of lol) 

I don't fear mustard at all. In fact, I used to eat mustard plain. All of my friends thought I was crazy for liking mustard that much lol.

I also don't really have any irrational fear of anything like that either. Unless you count bugs. Bugs are awful and I hate bugs and sometimes I become so scared of a bug that I don't even try to squish it and flush it down the toilet. But then again that's kinda common.

I do have a fear that's somewhat uncommon and that's the fear of tall buildings (Batophobia).

I freeze and get dizzy whenever I look up at a church or a skyscraper and I lose my balance whenever I think about them. It's the main reason why I hate going to cities and why we live in a more quiet town with one or two story buildings. Oddly enough I rarely get scared when I'm actually somewhat high above the ground but looking up at a tall structure or building petrifies me.

I developed it when I was like 12 and while it's gotten a little better than when I was 15-16 it's still something that hinders me every single day.

I remember you saying of this in one of my posts I think? Can't remember which one. Anyways I LOVE mustard! Its the most amazing thing I have ever come across. As for my fears? I think it would mostly be spiders sadly. I've always been afraid of them since I as young, and yet....I love spiderman movies then I question myself saying whats wrong with me? @.@

I have a pretty weird fear: Mushrooms. So far, only one other user knows someone who has this too. (can't remember who, though. It's somewhere on Vizzed) But if i touch them, eat them or even get too close, i get afraid of them. So i don't find it weird if your sister is afraid of something unusual, as i got something like that too.

Well then. Can't say that I've ever heard of anything quite like that.

I don't know if it's unusual or not but I freak out if someone grabs my finger or toe. Any of them. If you grab two of my fingers together (like my first and second finger while I'm holding them together) I'm fine, but grab one finger by itself and I'll flip on you. I think it's a fear of them being broken and the two or more fingers being held together makes it feel stronger and less likely to break. I don't know for sure.

As I said I'm the same way by my toes but not as bad. In fact, my sister used to torture me by grabbing one of my toes and pulling. I would start begging for her to let go in the most frantic unintelligible way. One time she held on so long that I kept scooting down the bed toward her (she was standing at the foot of it) and I scooted so far that I fell off. She was mean, yes, but I always paid her back somehow. Lol And to be fair she was being playful, I just don't think she realized how truly terrified I was.

MarioLucarioFan64 : It's ironic that you're a Mario fan and afraid of mushrooms But I understand why you'd be afraid of them. They're strange, I don't like seeing them on the ground, and when I found one in a taco I was eating, that scared me!

I can barely stand eating mustard, but I don't mind looking at it. I wouldn't get so scared of it that I'd run away or chuck it into the trash can XD However, I'd be scared of eating food with mustard in it because I'm embarrassed to spit out my food in front of people even if it's my own family.

My most major fear is being on a ride that's too fast for me. One time I rode down a waterfall at Disney World and I completely flipped out and was bawling the whole time, even after we got to a calmer part of the ride. My sister was enjoying every second though. I don't think I'd react that badly now since it's been 6 years but I still wouldn't want to do that again. I've been on other fast rides too and had nightmares about going too fast in a car. :/

I'm glad my fear isn't about anything going too fast, just with rides. Otherwise I'd be too afraid to even play Mario Kart!

I do not think I have any irrational fears. I do hate heights,I do not want to be off solid ground or floor. Mohammedroxx3,your sister would hate me then. I like mustard in my sandwiches and BLT's (for health reasons,mayo is mostly fat) and I love soft pretzels with mustard. Oh,tell your sister not to move to France. They eat fries with mustard there.

Lmao that's hilarious. I hate mustard too, but I'm not scared of it.

I remember at summer camp when I was 11 or 12 there was a girl that was terrified of water and spoons. So being the instigators we were, me and my friends used to put water on spoons and use the spoons to flick it at her lmao. We also snuck plastic spoons into her bag a few times. It was so funny.

I don't really have any fears like that myself.
