Words express our feelings. They convey our emotions. They get points across. They help us communicate with everyone around us. Humans, despite how often we adapt, subconsciously have distinct patterns in our thoughts, judgements, and vocabulary. We have a tendency to use certain words a lot, and we might not even notice. We are peculiar creatures.

What's your favorite word? Least favorite? Thank you for helping.

Oh wow this is a rather unusual thread. But a good question to ask since it would get people thinking of that. For me...for me would be the word *Anxiety* because its really based on mostly what I can be about. There isn't a day I am not worried about something. Or if its to do with my friends on vizzed as well. Its just how I've come and grown up to be. But being surrounded by the right people I wouldn't feel it as much and be the confidant person I need to be and when I need to be. I hope my explanation was based on what you asked of.

My favorite word is "eating," because it applies to so many things that I do! For one, eating, in and of itself, and two would be eating quarterback, or getting sacks, in football terms, and I use it quite alot because I talk about football practically all the time. But I do eat alot of food, and constantly. I need four heavy meals a day along with snacks in between to really keep myself from starving throughout the day, and because of that I don't like school lunch schedules, since I have to eat my breakfast around 7 and then have to wait five hours, at the least, before I eat again. It's agonizing.

My least favorite word is that one that starts with an 'R' because it's extremely offensive to people who actually have a condition, and using it as an insult is inconsiderate and rude.

Wow, this is a pretty weird question. If I had to choose one, it would have to be FLABBERGASTED. Seriously, just listen to it. Whoever thought of this one must have been crazy, because this is the weirdest word I've heard that's less than 20 letters. Just the way FLABBER sounds is funny on its own, but then you get the GASTED, and that's so weird not on its own, but with the beginning. Other than that, the word means "surprised", and that just makes the word seem even weirder. I'm sorry if I chose a pretty cliché weird-sounding word, but it's still pretty odd to me.

It's a tough call, really... I don't really have a favorite word. I have several expressions or phrases that I use very frequently, but I don't think that's specific enough to qualify. I'd have to say that my least favorite word is "Deserve". Most people who think they "deserve" something, don't. I have a very intense dislike of people with an entitlement attitude, and I believe that, if you don't have something, you haven't earned it.

Titan127 : To be fair, there's actually really nothing wrong with the word retard or retarded. If you look up the actual definition, it's a synonym of handicapped. Take certain contexts that aren't frowned upon. For example: fire retardant. The only reason the word has a negative connotation is because of people using it pejorative, shaming fashion. I even self identify as an extremist, politically speaking. That doesn't mean I'm going out and killing people who don't share my views.

m0ssb3rg935 : Retardant is a completely different word, and while I understand the definition, the way people use it is honestly just offensive. I'm not personally offended by it, and while I'll drop alot of words that are offensive as well, I just don't like to hear it, you know? I'm normally pretty thick skinned when it comes to 'political correctness,' which I think is absolute bull. If I say black in public at this point people call me out, but I mean, I couldn't really think of a word that I particularly didn't like, so that's the one I chose.

m0ssb3rg935 : Lol dude, the definition of retardant is, fabric that can’t catch fire.

I don’t know why, I was always interested in the word interesting. It just sounded cool to say when I was young.

I like the word 'trajectory.' I think it sounds cool and it is multi purpose. You could discuss someone's career trajectory and what their rise and fall in the world of business or whatever field they happen to be in. Trajectory could be a loooooooong fly ball left field, it's way back, Sanchez at the track, the wall, he looks up, GONE! THREE RUN HOMERUN!

That's fun.

Trajectory could be used in artillery and mortars and remind me of when I was in the Marine Corps. Or it could be used for the home made catapult I made a few years ago to launch water balloons at elementary school kids who played in the playground behind my apartment building back then.

Trajectory. It sounds fancy. It's a nice twenty dollar word.

Being a Call of Duty fan for as long as I have been, I think I have thoroughly enjoyed saying the word "semtex." Its a word that obviously ends in an "x" which automatically makes the word really cool, right? XD I like saying it especially when I get the last kill with a semtex grenade in a multiplayer match. You hear the grenade beeping slowly, then the beeping gets faster, and all of a sudden...BOOM! You've just been semtex'd XD

I'm not sure if its my favorite word to say of all time, but I am unable to think of anything else right now lol

And on another note, Hammer released some new bowling balls recently where the coverstock's name is "Semtex." The word just makes my world a whole lot better just by being able to say it on a regular basis now.
