I had to make a thread of this....I know I am posting away with somewhere I am trying to get at. But when you type for many hours how hurtful does your fingers become? Because believe me, and I can assume you of this you will feel when it happen. And when it does do you rest or not bother and carry on with whatever you are typing on? @.@

Usually my motivation becomes nothing so that I just stop posting long before my fingers get tired :p. But on the occasion where I force myself to type even when my brain is just about to give up, my fingers start to get tired and hurt as well DX.

I remember one time when I was typing up a guide when I first became staff I decided to type 800 words in an hour and ohhhh boy my brain was exhausted and I could barely type anymore. I decided to cool off in the chat room until I rested enough to continue and finish that guide. Also when I got the blue jersey, I made like 57 posts and I was so tired and my fingers hurt too so I had to take a break. Good thing I still managed to get a blue jersey even though some people were catching up to me <<

My fingers don't get tired at all (I'm weird, I know) when I type for so much time. It's probably because I'm a fast typer, or idk. My fingers get hurtful when I write with a pen for hours in real life tho

Nope, maybe years ago there would be a time where my fingers would hurt after too much typing, but not anymore, just on vizzed alone, I averaged more than 1200 words per day since I joined, so after a while, typing over and over started having no effect on my fingers. The day I broke the record, there was a time where I was posting for 13 straight hours, and back then maybe it hurt a little, but after keeping doing the same thing over and over, I got immune to it.

Sorry, can't sympathize with you on this one. I can type for hours on end and not feel anything in my hands. Now, writing essays with a pen or pencil is a much different story, I can assure you. Granted, when I'm typing and typing and typing, I normally stop for up to five minutes at a time to think about what to put down next, so that might be why.

So make a sandwich, get something to eat, or just stretch out your fingers before they start hurting.

Or if you have a pet, you could pet your dog or cat or hamster or bunny, etc. Again, just different motions should help out. Hope this helps!

   My fingers do not get tired because I have adapted my fingers into a whole new species of finger which never gets tired because he types all day everyday. The thumbs of this finger are particularly strong because of a lot of gaming. I can type for hours on end and I would never get tired! I should really start selling my fingers.....

Pacman+Mariofan : Its always good to rest then when needed lol. We type fast but then when they need rest then don't continue with the typing. I make sure I at least have certain breaks before carrying on with any typing that way it would be a whole lot more easier for me.

Well the thing is I almost never type for HOURS lol, but after playing a game on a keyboard for a while I actually start to cramp up in various places besides my fingers. I don't know, it's weird. It's mostly my forearm that hurts, all I need to do for my fingers is crack them and then they feel fine again.
