What's your favorite vacation spot that you've been to? What were you able to do there?

I've been on many vacations and none of them have been to the same spot twice. My favorite vacation that I've had is when I stayed in a condo with my family at Virginia Beach last summer.

Most of our time was spent playing around with the waves on the beach and my dad and I also kept throwing a beach football to each other back and forth. Other people on the beach asked to join us and we said yes We also went to Dairy Queen and ate some cold ice cream on the hot beach! We stayed there (at the condo and the beach. not at Dairy Queen) for a week and it was a blast. The only bad part was that all of us except my brother got terrible sunburns that were pretty painful :/

Banff, Alberta. It was wonderful. The city itself is very adorable, and I loved all of the little shops.

Hmm...thats a very good question. I'm probably going to have to choose one from the time my brother had his wedding. So I say my favourite place was the harbor it was very nice looking even saw crabs. And ones people were catching. It was pretty live seeing all this things that never happens in London. So it was really nice to take in new for a change.

Oh boy, there's so many places I can think of really, whether its a different state or even a different country. I had gone on college tours which were like vactions to places such as texas and Florida, which were all amazing. Florida was great, but I was sick half the time, and we went to the beach and a couple of big amuzement parks and had a blast. Texas was just as great because we did a heck of a lot of sightseeing during the week that we were there.

I also really liked Australia, and would love to go back there some day.

Eniitan : I've been to a couple harbors before and they were very nice and being there was relaxing. It sounds like that was really nice for you too! I'd like to see crabs but I haven't seen any besides at my local zoo's aquarium. It would be better to see them in their natural environment

zanderlex : I've been to Florida too and I stayed a week at Disney World while I was there. Sorry to hear you were sick half the time, I feel horrible every time I hear about someone getting sick during a vacation. It's happened to me too.

Over Memorial Day weekend I went on a trip to Michigan and I got the flu the day after we arrived. It took me over a week to get over the sickness! Wow you went to Australia, that's really cool! My school is planning an educational trip to Australia for next summer.

Eniitan : Fudge shops are pretty amazing! I've been to one during my Virginia Beach vacation. I tried a bite of their fudge and immediately wanted more.

My parents used to own this timeshare we had in northern Georgia. I always looked forward to going there as a kid. It literally almost everything: mini golf, horseback riding, a huge pool and hot tub, tennis courts, archery, plenty of pool tables, an arcade, and a nice 18 hole golf course. I know it had more but I can't really remember it all lol Plus during the summer, we would go one town north to Helen, GA and go tubing on the Chattahoochee River ( I think that's how you spell it ).

This resort is called Apple Mountain. I had a really fun time EVERY time we went. And what's more, my wife and I went on our honeymoon up there. I don't have to tell you that I had the best time of my life with her, too

PacmanandMariofan : Not only was I sick, but at the end of the trip, I got everyone else sick as well so it was totally worth it

But the trip was still a blast. I remember the very first day we were there, I was my sickest but we stayed out in one of the hotels massive parks and played Ping Pong and went swimming for hours all the way up until like 2 AM. Then we came in and went to the arcade until 4.

The college that we visited that first day (Which was the only college we went to the entire week) was Jet Blue University which was awesome, we got to go on flight simulators and everything.

Off the top of my head, I'd have to say Myrtle Beach. I was pretty young at the time, so I don't remember it all that well, but it was still extremely fun. I remember playing on the beach all day with my family. We would pass a football around, or even play a game of 2v2 or 3v3 touch. We would bring Frisbees and kites to fly, it was all so much fun.

I remember one time I brought a friend with me on vacation. The pool behind our condo had a concrete lining that was extremely rough for whatever reason. We were racing to see who could get across the pool the fastest underwater. Since the poll was right by the beach, it had quite a bit of sand in it from people using it to rinse off, so you couldn't exactly open your eyes in it without something to protect them. Long story short (it's already long, I know lol) I ended up smashing my face into one of the pool walls trying to make it across faster than he did haha. I told everyone when we got back I got in a fight, and my friend was cool enough to back me up on the story XD

On one of our trips there, I actually met a girl who was super cute and we kind of had a thing for each other. Don't get me wrong, we were each around like 10 at the time, so it's not like we were going to make anything of it, but it was still a very pleasant experience since she was there on the beach pretty much every day I was.

zanderlex : I'm sure everyone else wasn't very happy to get sick too All of that sounds really cool, I have been in an arcade and even though I play the same games I've already played before, it's better than the usual. Swimming for so long sounds tiring but I would try that too most likely. Playing Ping Pong is a pain (try saying that 10 times fast) sometimes but a lot of the time I laugh when I miss. If I could do all that on a trip I would remember it for a long time and have an enjoyable time while I'm there

Mynamescox44 : Myrtle Beach is one of the places I've been to also! I didn't get to play on the beach with my family as much but we did spend plenty of our time there at the beach. Whoa, you smashing your head into a pool wall sounds painful. One time I did that before at my local YMCA when I was doing a backstroke in their pool. I had no idea when to stop and I was swimming pretty fast so I hit the top of my head hard on that wall and had to grab the wall to get myself back up before I started sinking. XD

A road trip to Louisiana for a wedding. I went with dad and grandpa and Mimi so mom could stay home to take care of the pets. It was good to meet a lot of family I had not met before because they live across the country. We went swimming and to the zoo and to see old sawmills. I also had fun making Texas shaped waffles at a hotel we stayed at on the road trip. I have not been on a plane yet but supposed to go to NH next summer.

Kilian : That sounds cool. Meeting new family is a great experience so I'm glad you had the opportunity to do that! I like waffles and Texas shaped waffles would be fun for me to make. Last Christmas my family got a snowman waffle maker (to be specific, Olaf from the movie Frozen was the snowman). We enjoyed making, and especially eating, those snowman waffles.

As long as you aren't afraid of heights, being on a plane should be enjoyable for you. You can get a nice view from so high in the sky and the travel isn't too long compared to other methods of travel.

I went to New York City I think last year or the year before on vacation during summer, and even though I was deathly sick basically the whole time I still really enjoyed it. Living in a common vacation / tourist spot myself it was nice to go out and see something new.

Minuano : Wow you still enjoyed it even though you were sick the whole time, that's really good. It's always nice to go out and see something new. Making nice memories is easier that way and it's probably healthy for your brain too.

My favorite place I ever took a vacation to was Myrtle Beach. I went there with my parents and sister when I was in elementary school. We stayed at a nice hotel, enjoyed the beach, and went to a mini golf course in the area. The only minus about the trip was that I discovered how much I hate Domino's Pizza.

gamerforlifeforever : That's cool, I went to multiple mini-golf courses when I was staying at Myrtle Beach 2 years ago. My parents used to not like Domino's Pizza either, but now my whole family loves it Many people have told me that they improved their pizza over the years and after trying it, I agree!

My favourite place to go for a vacation is Killarney, MB and William Lake which is about 30 minutes away form Killarney.

I grew up going to Killarney every summer for at least two weeks. It's a small lake side town. You can fish, go to the beach, there are nature trails, and the town itself to walk around. I fee like its one of those places, that if I were to take someone else to, the wouldn't be that impressed, but I love it there.

I have family who own a farm, so we'll usually go out there and go horse back riding and feed the cows. And The Danish Mermaid is the best place to get ice cream! lol 150 flavours to choose from.

Every time we go there, we'll go to William Lake for the day too. William lake is just a campground with a beautiful lake. About an hours hike from the lake is Turtle Mountain, which is always a blast to climb. The whole area is riddled with little lakes, so it's fun to hike around and go fishing in them all.

We haven't gone the past four years, but we're heading back out there this Sunday with a bunch of family!
