I think it could be worth a try. My friends won't probably like it, but who knows, I've seen them like strange things beyond this. With Android 4.4.2, I shouldn't have trouble playing it.

Eniitan : You have plenty of time to decide if you get this or not, because the game is US-exclusive as of now. Both Europe and Japan don't have a scheduled release, though it's theorised to be during this year.

So I started playing this game a little bit, and more than anything I find it really cool how many people are venturing outside and talking to each other in public...all because of this game. Although I can see people getting bad situations as well...just nice to see a game that gets people out in the world and experiencing life.

zanderlex : I think it kinda depends on your device. But no doubt it is a battery drain with the GPS and camera on constantly. My s7 edge lasted a few hours when I was riding my bike earlier today. My point really is that it's amazing to see people congregating outside and talking to each other all due to this game. So I give credit where it's due. I'm not a huge Pokemon fan, but Even I think it's a pretty cool app. Makes my runs and bike rides outside more interesting anyways. lol

For now I find the game very interesting. It is a great incentives for exercise to get to stations and catch random Pokémons at random. I guess I would need to read the specs and details a little more in order to grow my Pokémons in order to fight in the gyms. However it seems to be harder to play in dense, single-home residential areas since one has to cover a lot of terrain to get between stations. I have tested it in a more downtown park; there were 3 stations less than a kilometer away. In my immediate neighborhood one has to walk at least 500 meters between stations (and then walk back home when the battery is dead ).

Hopefully all the rumors about the program snooping in your emails and privacy is blown out of proportion...
