Truthfully, Holidays can be one or more of many things. They can be encouraging, heartfelt, fancy, and fun. They make up part of the bulk of our various countries' cultures. They are usually endearing, and a nice break from our everyday monotony. We utilize them to their fullest. They truly are a wonderful time for celebration. My favorite holiday is actually Halloween. I love eating tons of candy and going exploring in the night. Honestly, it's good fun.

What is your favorite holiday? Why? Which one is your least favorite? Thanks for giving your valuable time.

After working on a airport for the last year and any kind of holiday is a lot more passages. I'm starting to dislike the term holiday since people stop thinking on others when traveling and only on them self. The summer holiday is OK since the number of people increase steady, but in the autumn and winter break the number of people goes from maybe 100 people per plane and when the holiday starts its 200 witch means the plane is full. But if I had to chose a holiday I would say summer because of the weather

My favorite holiday was my honeymoon when I got married. We traveled from Boston to SeaTac to Honolulu, Hawaii, and spent the next two weeks on the islands. We ate crazy food, we were at the beaches all the time, I tried surfing for the first time ever, and my wife and I had a blast seeing how we interacted while traveling long distances.

It went so well we decided to move back a few years later just to do it. That was the greatest moment of our relationship because it enabled us to go have fun before kids, we got a chance to really learn about each other and develop our marriage together, we both learned to calm down and take things less than seriously and we both were in great shape and got awesome tans.

It all started with that first trip. My honeymoon was awesome.

My fav holiday was for my brothers wedding to be honest. That I felt even though it was for a few days we went to a place called torquay for when he will marry. And this place was completely different to London itself. So it felt really good to like experience something new for once. Considering I don't get to go to places like that so often. And I really enjoyed myself. Despite I had injuries in my legs because I can't walk far distances. But I went to my first ever club there! Considering the ones in London are not safe to go to. I hope in the near future I get to go there again.

I have 2, one which sorta, but not really is a dutch christian holiday, Sinterklaas, which is one of the things that led to santa claus' creation. (Here in holland some people give presents on sinterklaas, and some on christmas. Generally though I think sinterklaas is more common to give presents on.)
 It used to be a religious holiday but it no longer is, really.  Pretty much, you get presents and you eat a lot of sweets.

My favorite holiday is my birthday and Christmas :3. Christmas because presents and candy and winter break, and my birthday because that's the day where the world revolves around me 3. Those two days are also the day where I can be on the computer for the entire day so woooo xp.

Summer break is nice but after a while it gets boring and I am not a fan of the heat AT ALL. My favorite holiday would have to be Christmas. I used to love Christmas as a little kid because of the gifts, and I'd be lying if I said I don't like the gifts now, but I enjoy other aspects of it more. I love the weather during Christmas for one. I've only seen one "White Christmas" in my life, but I love the cold weather as it gives me an excuse to sit inside under the covers with my computer and do nothing, lol. I also love the overall happiness that is given off from most people during the Christmas season. It just puts you in an overall good mood, for the most part. And last, but certainly not least, the food that is cooked during Christmas is great. Since it's a very special occasion, my mom cooks special meals and I love that.

Being a protestant Christian (well, I'm trying... even though that doesn't count for much) and very similar to a Calvinist, we don't really observe religious holidays. I could name a few "special" occurrences that I enjoys for material reasons, but it's my belief that most things that have their own day should be appreciated and remembered every day, not just one day out of the year. I enjoy New Years Eve because I get to drink champagne and Independence Day because we get to shoot fireworks, but things like Memorial Day and Thanksgiving and even June 6th, in my opinion, should be remembered and appreciated every day.

I would say, my favorite Holiday is Christmas. Not for the presents but for religious reasons. To me Christmas is the birth of my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. That is a very important holiday to me and Easter cause that is when Jesus died and rose and offered his gift of salvation.

My favorite holiday is Thanksgiving because I have a chance to eat lots of food without feeling guilty. Also it is a great way to bring family and friends to celebrate together and be thankful of what you have in the moment.
