Lately, I've been wondering what happens to us after we all meet our eventual demise someday, so I asked my mom about what she thought about this, and she said that once we die, our souls will stay in the body until judgement day. How about you all? What are your thoughts about this?

Yes, I believe we do. Unless we commit the unpardonable sin of Denying the Holy Ghost, we can also receive a perfect, resurrected body. I have come dangerously close to doing this myself. I had a strong testimony of much truth and fought against it...but I did not quite deny the Holy Ghost completely from me (and it takes more than saying "there is no Holy Ghost". I've done it, and I'm no son of Perdition). It's hard, but not impossible, living as I am now. I realize how much happier I used to be, and miss that. I was so much happier before...and I realize it, and it crushes me. I find it very difficult to live up to even the man I used to be, let alone improve. Don't ever turn your back on the truths you know. You may well find it difficult to reclaim them in the future and become like me. I am by no means unhappy. I'm just not as happy as I used to be. Well,I am an atheist,so I must disagree. I would like to think our spirits or parts of ourselves live on,but we do not. From the moment we are born,we begin to die. I am sorry if it is depressing. But here is how you can live on forever,in a sense. Raise good kids,teach them morals and values and they in turn will teach their kids. That is how you live on forever in a good way. Do some good every day,even something as minor as holding a door open,helping someone with their bags,or lend an ear to someone.
