I imagine a lot of users here have Adblock of some kind. That's fine, but it would help David and the other staff a great deal if we disable adblock just for Vizzed. It would help a lot with the financial situation, and the ads aren't even that annoying, so I see no reason as to why we need to have enabled adblock for Vizzed. Some users may have already disabled adblock for Vizzed, such as me, but I want to get as many users as possible to disable adblock, as it could possibly help the financial situation. I hope you all take this into consideration. Just trying to spread the word.

When I got adblock, I already disabled it just for Vizzed. I'm not sure how much I helped by unblocking it, but I'm sure I helped a bit .

I'm pretty sure that if a lot of people disabled adblock here, it'd make a difference.

Yeah, I found out that using ablock on Vizzed was reducing site revenue a few months ago, and ever since then, I've disabled it. Just like ZT said, if everyone who had adblock enabled for Vizzed disabled it, it would make a massive difference.

I don't even use adblock because I don't particularly care about blocking ads besides most websites just moan at you if you try to use it on anywhere it's really annoying.

I used to block ads on vizzed and I actually forgot to turn adblock off on vizzed on my new pc so thanks for reminding me.

although I've heard something about ads being annoying on mobile, but I don't really go on vizzed on mobile that much.

Ads are really annoying on mobile, but well, the site layout is also a bit different and still in Beta, so it will get better the more feedback we give David. I already have enough things installed on mobile to put adblock on top of it, and since I don't use it much for navigation I really don't care.

The PC version is just fine with ads. No sound, no excessive size, no filling the whole page, no pop-ups... Seriously, it's almost like if they aren't there. I don't see why would someone disable ads for a place like this after David goes through all the trouble to add only friendly ads.

I would disable my adblocker on Vizzed, but these ads wants to act stupid and have malware-rich NSFW ads, ads that takes over the site, and/or ads that acts completely r-----ed, at a point that I can't see having these ads anywhere.

After I heard it helps the owner, Davideo7, a lot with site revenue, I turned it off. The some ads are annoying-- the ones that increase their window when you run your cursor over, but that's about it.

If people are getting shady or NSFW ads, it could be the result of not using things to block tracking or that you may already have some bad software. Of course, I'm no expert.

Adblocker detected!

Vizzed.com is very expensive to keep alive! The Ads pay for the servers.

Vizzed has 3 TB worth of games and 1 TB worth of music.  This site is free to use but the ads barely pay for the monthly server fees.  If too many more people use ad block, the site cannot survive.

We prioritize the community over the site profits.  This is why we avoid using annoying (but high paying) ads like most other sites which include popups, obnoxious sounds and animations, malware, and other forms of intrusiveness.  We'll do our part to never resort to these types of ads, please do your part by helping support this site by adding Vizzed.com to your ad blocking whitelist.
