I've been wondering something. While i'm fully aware of newbies and members, I ask just what privileges those of the higher status have.  Specifically, the perks of being a Vizzed Elite, Local Moderator, Global Moderator, and/or Administrator. They definitely are the bread and butter of this site. I definitely seen them around before, and while I'm not asking how to become one, I'd just like for them to tell me what their power provides for them, if they don't mind. Also, I'd like to know what Vizzed Uploader is, seeing as how I cannot access it and I'd like to know what it's role is in this site. Thanks for elaborating smoothly. 


Also, If I could speak with David, that would be nice. I'd like to ask of what you can do while on this site, and what you might be adding in the future. (Also, if Vizzed Battle Arena will exist or not). Knowledge on Items would also be nice. While I could read about them on the Help Center, I'd prefer for someone to explain it in detail. I love reading the detailed opinions and explanations of others.

Ultrajeff : For the most part, the higher the rank, the more parts of the site are available to you. Exception being the Retro game room. All of the games are available if the proper conditions are met. IE: Enough Viz to get the game, have the corresponding item to let you play it, etc. Local Admins have the ability to edit their assigned areas of the site. All staff members work hard to do their parts to help David in anyway they can. As for the vizzed arena, I think that is something that David has had plans for awhile, but I know it is hard to do anything with his budget and lack of funds lately.

Hello. Ok, here is some clarification: 
Newbie - Brand new.  Some limitations to what you can do/post. Like posting outside links is prohibited, for example.

Member - You've been here for 7 days and made 10 posts. 

Trusted - You've gained 5 trust points from other people. You can now access some secret forums, give yourself a custom title, and basically be  a little more respected. You also have the power to give trust points at this point. 

Elite - A most respected member. No one can gain this unless the "higher ups", like the administrators and david think they are worthy and handpick them. They get access to more secret forums, and gain a lot of respect.

RGR Staff - They help out with various Jobs in the Game Room, like helping people, assigning links, uploading vid, etc. That's what those "Extra" title some people will have. It tells you what Job they have in the RGR.

Local Mod - These guys are the "patrol squad" and "help desk" all in one. They are there to make sure the daily running of the forums goes smoothly, and that everyone is having a good time. They will also warn and correct members who may be breaking rules, close and more threads, and they have the ability to edit other user's posts. They have a lot of power, but only in the forums they are assigned to. Each forum has a few Local Mods to take care of it. They are appointed by the Global Mods and above.

Global Mod - These guys are like the Police or even Judges. They will take disciplinary action, like banning, when users are out of line. They, along with the Admins, make the final decisions on many decisions on the board, especially related to discipline. They have the power Locals have but over all regular forums. They are appointed by the Admins and Above. 

Admin - The top bosses. The princes, princess, dukes and duchesses of the land of Vizzed. Only a VERY few ever get this. They have tremendous power and have (almost) the last say in decisions about what should be done around the board. David hand picks these.

Owner - The King. The Creator. The busiest man on earth: Davideo7. He has the power to change the universe of Vizzed on a molecular level, should he choose. 

So that's it in a nutshell. 

As for speaking with David, you can always send him a PM, but keep in mind he is VERY VERY busy, and may not get back to you for months. As for the Battle Arena... I've been literally waiting for it for 10 years. It'll come... eventually. But don't hold your breath.

Besides the obvious differences that was already stated by Light Knight the higher your rank the higher of a cap you on CP actions basically meaning you'll be able to contribute more to the site in a day. For example as site staff you're able to add characters to the character database while elite or below would need to wait for them to be approved by a staff member before receiving any Viz or CP. Of course this only really matters if you try to earn CP. A lot of people just care about posting or playing RGR games.

As an added note, to be more specific on how one gets elite rank it's typically given to ex site staff and above once they step down assuming they've served for a certain amount of time. In some rare cases people can also get it for making other major contributions such as donating really high amounts of money to the site (which is also how people got color custom usernames). It makes it so you may able to more directly give david feedback or help out with some things like rating competition submission so basically having some of the powers of staff without actually being staff or having to meet a quota.

From what I've seen you typically need to be trusted+ to apply for a lot of positions once they become available like site staff or local mod (exception is sometimes made for site staff if you've contributed a lot).

These secret forums people are talking about and such isn't really a big deal. Most people find that while they really wanted trusted status as a normal member, once they actually get it turns out to be somewhat anticlimactic since not much changes. Same with vizzed elite. It's more often than not just a sign that you've stuck around the site for a while and become well known/popular within the community.
