Do you even know what Pokerus is? Its one of the rarest things in all of the Pokemon games and it's a virus that essentially makes your Pokemon stronger by increasing the EV that each Pokemon gets from a battle.

It's really rare though, finding a Pokemon that has Pokerus is about 3 to 4 times more rare than finding a shiny Pokemon!

What is your experience with Pokerus? Have you ever had a Pokemon that had it? Do you hope to get it some day? What are your thoughts on the virus?

After playing Pokemon for probably at least a dozen years, I finally got my first Pokemon that had the virus through a wonder trade, and since then I had made sure to infect all of my main Pokemon with it, as well as a few others.

I've never found it, but if I did I would infect all the Pokemon I would be using in the game. That double EV is just awesome to turn the tide on a battle even if you're underleveled.

I had a very bad luck with shinies throughout all my life, but upon getting in Vizzed and playing some hacks, I've come through a couple of them (that weren't intended to be shiny). The shiny rate for those games wasn't altered, so I feel somewhat confident in finally getting Pokerus. The problem is that I'm not someone that catches many Pokemon, only the ones I'll need for battle, and that makes it harder for me to encounter this virus.

That being said, through playing hacks on this site, I've been infected by it in about 4-5 different games (and I've never once seen a shiny outside of them being forced into the hack. Weird, huh?)

I miss Gen 2's way of using PKRS, simply doubling stat growth over the whole EV method.
I don't generally pay any attention to EV's so getting the virus doesn't mean much to me.

Oh wow I don't think I have ever come across to know any of that! How did I miss it? I guess its a good thing from where the others are describing what that virus can do to the pokemon. I guess I better have a look out from when it happens. I hope I get to run into it. But I feel its most likely that I wouldn't, but I can only hope that I do. @.@

Yeah, I do have the virus. I encountered it many times actually (almost during all of the times I was unaware of the purple message "PKRS"). Now on Pokemon Y I have it, and I keep it on the PC (it stays there as long as you keep it). Almost my entire main team is affected by the virus now.
