I like all three of them. But if I had to choose, It'd be dragon ball z because it has some pretty epic fights and attacks like the battle when goku and majin vegeta fought against each other and kamehameha. Definitely some of my favorites in anime. How about you all?

I could never get into either of One Piece or Naruto. I'm not sure why. I really should give them another try. Maybe I'll start watching the anime again and see if I like it more this time around. I've got the free time to do it right now

I definitely prefer DBZ out of those choices. It was one of the first anime I ever watched and I was hooked from day one. Still, I think I should give the other 2 a chance because I've heard from lots of people that they are good as well.

I absolutely despise Naruto, I love one piece but dragon ball takes it for me.

I do not seperate dragon ball and Z, if I did and it was just DBZ one piece would be closer but dbz would still edge it.

First anime I have seen other than pokemon (which I don't really like) and the original dragon ball is my favourite TV show of all time. (SORRY TWILIGHT ZONE)

geeogree : I would say definitely try one piece, but whatever you do, do not watch the dub, its really, really awful.

Of those ill go with Dragon Ball Z because its the one that I have seen the most, and I have also grown to like it after seeing it for so long while I never saw One piece ever and for Naruto, I prefer the manga.

I'll go with Dragon Ball Z on this one because it has the most epic fights imo, plus it dominated my childhood lol. Its games are awesome, too.

I personally prefer Naruto because the story is quite good, it is also very close to being my favorite anime next to Fist of the North Star.

You didn't put Fairy Tail in this list. I am dissappointed and I'm going to go cry now because I can't pick my favorite anime of all time.

Out of the three, I pick Naruto. One Piece is absolute garbage. Luffy is the most annoying thing ever. I can't stand hearing him talk. I'm still watching Dragon Ball before I watch Dragon Ball Z, so Naruto is my pick.

But Fairy Tail will always reign supreme over all anime.

I'm going with DBZ. It was the most enjoyable experience of the three. I can't stand Naruto, but One Piece is tolerable to watch. I guess I'd say DBZ because the fights are more "raw" in my opinion. And I (for the most part) like the characters in that series more as well.

Naruto by a long shot. The original arcs were really good, up until the Sasuke retreival arc. Then it became garbage, but the original series is amazing. Dragon Ball Z is pretty fun, but I mainly watch it for the fights. I never watched One Piece.

I've watched all three, and used to like all three (I still like one, hear me out... Well, actually this newer stuff... Ugh...), but I have to give it to DBZ. The characters, the epic scale of the fights, and the fights themselves were just so cool to me. Sure, the original DBZ had filler, but it was never annoying to me, also, it at a certain point, it ended. There also wasn't filler in the middle of really important stuff going on (I'm talking about you, BLEACH).

I loved the One Piece manga, and started watching the show when it was owned by 4Kids... The manga had better voice acting, and they changed SO many things for the much, much worse. Sangi having a lollipop in his mouth, and they completely changed what happened in Zoro's back story. When Funimation took over, the voice acting was much better, but there's still too many silly ridiculous things that don't matter, that I stopped watching...

I still love the fights in Naruto. I also love how even though they weren't Chunin, Genin still had enough surprises to win fights. There wasn't a clearly better ninja, everyone had a chance to win, they just had to fight strategically, which is why Shikamaru is my favorite.

Why I stopped watching was the insane amount of filler. Although the fights were still good, there was just way too much filler. I did watch up to Shippuden, and a little more after that, but I stopped caring after a while... Too many episodes. I did love every second of the fight between the Hokage and Orochimaru though. So, fantastic, very well thought out fights (most of them), but way too much unnecessary everything else.

One Piece easily takes it for me. The amount of work and creativity put into One Piece far outstrips the other two.

1. Setting? Dragon Ball and Naruto both manage to move their characters around and show off different locations but it pales in comparison to One Piece where every arc is a new unique location.

2. Fights? All three have good fights. Naruto and One Piece pull ahead because of the unique abilities of the characters though. Dragon Ball slowed down on having unique abilities and moved towards who can throw more energy at the other. In the end One Piece also takes the cake here though. Devil Fruits give everybody completely different fighting styles even if they practice the same martial arts like CP9.

3. Build up period? Basically how entertaining is it when they're not fighting? One Piece is hilarious and so it gets a lot of points there. Naruto and DBZ have a lot of training arcs in comparison.

Anyway I think the fact that people say things like Naruto and DBZ should have ended after Pain and Freeza show that overall One Piece is stronger. Those two hit a high point and then kind of dragged on while One Piece is becoming increasingly more interesting.
