Everybody loves a good discount, right? What's the best discount that you have ever gotten when buying video games?

Mine would have to be when I bought my PS4 bundle. I could have waited an extra 2 weeks until Black Friday but there was a deal that I couldn't refuse. I paid full price, $350 for the Uncharted Collection PS4 bundle, but it also came with a free copy of Fallout 4, which I was stoked for, an extra controller, and a controller stand/charger, which is easily an extra $100.

I think the best deal I ever got was buying Final Fantasy 13, 13-2, Dead Space 1 and 2, and Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning all for under $30 at a GameStop. They were all used of course. I don't know if they were priced wrong or what, but I made out like a bandit that day.

I guess this counts: I traded in all my Wii games and accessories and got $450 off the Day One edition of the Xbox One. I would have to say that that was the best deal I got on a game.

I've participated in a couple Steam Sales... I got the entire Bioshock series for something like $25. I forget the exact amount but it was a steal compared to trying to buy a hard copy of each game.

The best video game deal I have ever had was no joke when I bought a gamecube for 3 euro's. 2 (2 pounds, 3 dollars) and a gameboy player with everything including the pretty rare disc for 2 euro's (2 dollars, 1.5 pounds)



In fact the gameboy player discs go for 50 dollars sometimes, haha.

I forget what it was that he didn't like about them but he said he hated them. It was the first time I had ever played a Gran Turismo game and now, its one of my favorite racing franchises of all time.

Mine was a lucky find. I was at some local fair, and they have stores open during the fair, so I wasn't really looking for anything in particular, just looking around. I entered a Christian Book store, that also sells old stuff, like an antique store as well. Just looking around, I found a video game section of used games, which surprised me. Looking through them I found a bunch of Gundam games, Journey to Jaburo, Encounters in Space, and Zeonic Front. They didn't have prices on them, so I asked how much for these, and the lady said she'd give all three of them to me for $5. I took them home and noticed the discs had some scratches, but when I played them, I never had any problems.

I still own them and still play them today, so I would say that was the best deal I've ever gotten on games, other than free games. XD

About a week ago, I managed to find a complete mint copy of the of the original Star Wars Battlefront for PC at a flea market for just $2.
There was only a little bit of grime on the outside case, but that came off quickly enough and the discs themselves were in perfect condition.
