The question here is simple... Do you try to get a spot on TdV? Or do you not care? Maybe you post whatever, whenever, and really don't mind having a spot? Perhaps you are fine with having a spot once or twice, and then just get bored and lose interest? (Apparently this is a good place to earn a quick post or two for you to gain some ranks, eh?)

As for me, I love having a spot, true, but it isn't too much trouble for me if I don't. I am here for me and only me, I don't really care of having a "top spot", though it isn't too bad to get a rank. What is your opinion of the TdV ranking leaderboard, eh?

I did win the last summer TdV but as it stands no I don't really care too much anymore. Being able to do that was all a kind of one time thing since I live in Europe and the timezone differences essentially made it so I had to pull all nighters to make sure no one took the jerseys from me. Now I simply don't have the time to attempt that anymore.

Having done that I feel like I've somewhat learned the ins and outs of the competition. I think it's a fun idea overall to have something that is as close to a site wide competition as it gets and that also encourages activity and helping the site. It is fun to gain some recognition for the contributions you make. 

I disagree with how things currently stand however because I feel like in particular the green/red jersey are much more easy for staff+ to win, and because of that the overall jersey as well. I also think in general the competition very much encourages quantity over quality, which I dislike (and I'd also say is a reason I think many other people dislike it). Despite possible rule changes being made I don't really ever see that being remedied. So besides just not having the time I guess I don't have much motivation to try to win it either because of that. I don't exactly mind winning a jersey either though. Maybe if I notice I'm close to winning one of the jerseys a particular day I might give it a shot but nothing on the level of what I used to.

Also these types of threads about caring/liking the TdV are typically made every time one happens so I feel like they're getting old at this point. Kind of a reason I gave you the short winded version of what I think about it in stead of going into more detail.

No, I don't care about getting a spot in the main TDV, I just go for the Blue and every now and then, either a Red or a Yellow, not for the main thing anymore.

I really like placing in the jerseys because it feels really satisfying and when I get a spot I know my hard work to get there paid off.

I usually don't want to make sure I get a spot because it requires me to stay up later than usual and spend almost all day competing. I've done it before, and it was pretty exhausting. Now there are so many other things I want to do that it's good enough for me to just be more active during the TdV months, whether I place or not.

I'm a very competitive person, I get it from my dad. So, yeah, I try hard to get a spot every now and then. I don't think I'll be very active during the Soring TdV because school is about to end so we have a lot of tests coming up. I'm going to be extremely active in the Summer TdV, though, and I imagine most people will.

I could care less about having a spot in the TdV. Most probably I'm going to get one or two jerseys because of my staff role, and probably some other points by accident, but that's all. I'm not going out of my way to get a spot anymore.

I think I burnt down my interest in placing last Summer, after that top 10 finish. It was a lot of work that not always paid out, because thanks to timezones I could get backstabbed more often than not.

I do and I don't care. I like doing well in the TdV but I'm not going to kill myself (or anyone else) in order to do so. I've love to win the TdV but I think I missed my chance of actually doing it. I doubt I'll have the time or energy to win now.

Frankly, I don't care much for the TdV anymore. If I can get a jersey, woohoo, but it's not my goal when I'm posting. I used to go for them hardcore, doing long game reviews and posting for the sake of posting. It felt too ingenuine, though.

Unfortunately, sad to say, my flame for tdv doesn't burn as brightly as it once did. I still do enjoy it, nevertheless. Well, for me now, if I competed had a good time and enjoyed myself, then that's what really matters. Regardless if I win or not.

Eh, it always depends. I like to put time into the TdV, and I really like having all of the colors on my name, but I'm not as invested as I was back in 2013/2014 when I'd try to win it all.

Ever since I've joined staff and such, I really haven't put much effort into it at all. 

To be honest Tdv really doesn't interest me at all since I don't post as frequently as most, though one time I got a spot which was pretty cool.

Of course I care about placing in the TdV but only because it's the only time of the year I can ditch the shade of baby blue and have it turn into a shade of blue, yellow, red, and green.

I'm rather new, so I'll probably sit this one off until next year or something. Besides, I'm quite busy this spring, so I don't really stand a chance haha. I'll just continue to do my own thing here on Vizzed  

Me having won the Fall 2015 TDV, I no longer desire getting the top spot in the TDV. I still compete in the competition to help contribute to the site and the competition, but I'm not as ruthless of a competitor as I was back when I was still trying to get rainbow for a month.

I'm trying my absolute hardest to get a Top 5 overall spot and in a few Jerseys. I only competed for the last 10 days, so getting that far would be an accomplishment I'd like to have. This is my first time competing in TdV, so I'm going all out to get the best spot possible.
