Singelli : My guess is that it has something to do with there not being as many newbies voting in this poll. There's less publicity because there was no announcement made, making this a more focused poll toward the more prominent users active on the board. A lot of the votes from the last poll were unaccounted for because they didn't post that they voted, and I think that might have annoyed geeo a little. Furthermore, there were most likely a great deal of voters in the last poll that never actually took the time to read the campaign threads, so he may of wanted to point this toward the user base that's more educated on the candidates policies. That being said, I doubt it was done with discounting a portion of your voters in mind.

I was mainly teasing because I do find the difference amusing.    Also, it probably helps that instead of 13 threads to read through, there are now only 3. Hopefully, more users will take the time to read the questions and answers since it will take a lot less time.
