For me, it's not a matter of would but will. I plan on being wealthy eventually, and even if I'm long since detached from this community by then, I WILL donate a very hefty sum, maybe even monthly. For the last 6 years almost, I have had virtually no life outside of this site, so it's something I absolutely plan on giving back to eventually.

I would. I'm not exactly rich or anything but this site has brought me a lot of enjoyment and I'd like to give back more directly even if I may not be able to spare a ton. I'm not able to use paypal though because of the age limit. When I am (or if David expands it somehow to give more ways to donate), even assuming I'm no longer active by then, I feel like I owe at least something with how much time I've spent here.

Edit: Regarding refunds, I'd assume the reason some people may want that is if they're giving money to the site not primarily because of it being an act of kindness but to get viz, technically it isn't strictly donating since you are guaranteed to get that in return so I'd assume regretting it because of that is why some people may feel entitled to a refund though it seems kind of stupid in my opinion. Really I still wonder why people would want Viz more than real money unless they have a ton of money to spare.

Really if your intention is to gain Viz you'd be better off doing something like buying steam games and setting up a shop to sell those for Viz in the vizzed market forum. 

Is that for all jobs or just the military,Mossburg? If you are in the military,some states do not take taxes out.

Davideo7 : In that case, I'll happily donate $10 when I the chance. Hopefully I'll be able to do it soon. Just wish I could've been able to offer more though. Being on vizzed helped me out a lot. Perhaps even made me a better person in a way.

The reason why I would have wanted a refund after donation is because if I came to a shortage of money, I probably would've had some regrets and wanted a refund. That thought was from a long time ago back when I was still a newbie. Please, think nothing of it. And zlinqx, I had many great times on this site and really enjoyed meself. Sure there was a few ups and downs, but overall, it was good. I just wanted to genuinely show my appreciation by donating. Not because I wanted a large sum of Viz or anything. I'm sorry if I made anyone assume that. Haha... Guess I should've elaborated more in my first post.

Final Weapon : I was making that as a general post on the topic more than anything. Anyway if you know you'll need the money you shouldn't donate it really. It's your money and you  should do what you see fit with it.That said if you do donate by the time you want a refund David might've already used the money thinking you were fine with it and asking for it back then is not a nice or fair situation to put him in or anyone else you're donating money to for that matter.

Zlinqx : Oh, sorry about that. And yes, I agree. Giving money to david or anyone and then asking for it back later on just wouldn't be fair on my part. Nowadays I plan accordingly to manage my money better to prevent something like that from happening rather than just acting on it and not being sure what to do afterwards. So no worries. When I donate the money to david I'll have no regrets.

Zlinqx : The big problem with refunds is that money is real tight for me and I sometimes have to spend the donation money soon after I receive it. If someone wanted a refund, I may not even have the funds anymore to refund it.

Final Weapon : No worries, just trying to explain the situation.  I mean imagine if a person like camkunimura who donated over 1500 dollars to the site, suddenly came asking for a refund, obviously that wouldn't sustainable.

Davideo7 : Yeah that's what I figured from the occasions when you've talked about it before, I'd say even if you were in a better spot financially though it would still be unfair for people to ask to receive the donated money back, putting it into perspective I think the vast majority of people understand that as well. I really think you do deserve more credit for all the hard work and money you put into the site even if that may go without saying for a lot of people.

Final Weapon : Ah, I see. Thanks for explaining. I agree that you should wait to donate until you're financially able to do so, which it sounds like you've already decided to do.

Right now, I have no cash to spare: I'm going into college and, as many of you know, every penny counts, haha! Once I can get all of the costs out of the way, I'd be more than happy to donate money to Vizzed. It's a great place and the least I could do is donate to help keep it running. David really deserves it.

It's no secret that I would if I could.  I used to try and donate every month. However, I really just can't afford it now.  In the past, it wasn't always easy.... and now it's just impossible.   The best thing I might be able to donate now, is my time.

I cant' even afford a few bucks, as I'm trying my best to stretch what I have.

However, I would definitely, definitely encourage others to donate... even small amounts.  The site offers so much for free, and it's always wonderful to give back to amazing people.
