You know, I wasn't expecting to see a Wii-U version of Minecraft released, although I haven't went to the Minecraft wiki since October 2015. But thinking about Minecraft coming to Wii-U, I was thinking that this will never happen especially after Microsoft bought Mojang (which I am a little upset about, but I'm over it).

When I turned my Wii-U on (set to play some Xenoblade Chronicles X), I seen on the game pad that they have advertised Minecraft Wii-U edition and what went onto my mind was "OMG, they did it, Minecraft on Wii-U, where did that came from"

What do any of you think about Minecraft finally coming to Wii-U? I think it's awesome.

why wouldn't they.... honestly. Minecraft is already multi-platform so why not get the nintendo kids who don't already own it.... I imagine porting it over was pretty simple since they already have at least 3 versions of the game (I think).

Still, I doubt there will be any real crossover between the versions since none of them are likely have the same stuff at the exact same time. Maybe in a few years when Microsoft gets the development together there might be cross-platform capability but I doubt that would happen.

It would be stupid not to! I am glad they finally did it. Have you played it yet? I hope it is fully compatible with the gamepad. Only reason I got an Xbox One was to play this so darn it wish I would've waited to get it on WiiU rather. But, glad they joined in.

I actually just bought a copy so I can give it to a friend of mine who loves Minecraft and has the console. I tried it out a bit myself at my friends place and it's cool but if I had a Wii U I wouldn't play it myself because of all the other places I play the game where I already have stuff.
