Yesterday, there was a shooting inside a Planned Parenthood clinic in Colorado. Three people, including a police officer, were killed. Nine others were wounded, including 5 officers. The gunman was taken into custody. So far, there's no word of a motive for the shootings. I wonder what could've sparked this incident? It'll be interesting to find out what the motives were for this attack.

This is disgusting.

I have no love for planned parenthood and everything that has come out about them but there is no excuse for attacking one and shooting people there. If you disagree with what planned parenthood does then use legal means to take them down (which is already starting to happen). This does nothing to further your cause if you don't like them.

It's very sad that a christian decided to mow down people in a Planned Parenthood. Planned Parenthood provides many more services than abortion and many women have had their lives changed from places like that.  Peace to those gunned down!

Why mow down Planned Parenthood? Because someone was being responsible? Look, there are way too many kids and unwanted pregnancies every year. What are we to do? Adoption-It may work for a small percentage, but if that kid has special needs, has been recycled,or is older, their chances are near zero. I hate to say this and I am sure I will get all kinds of crap for it,but PP needs to stay open,in different hands, yes, but stay open. I swear people need to have their ability to reproduced severely limited. As soon as the kid is born, make it so they cannot impregnate or be impregnated without approval.

As for the shooter, they need to broadcast his miserable death on every form of broadcast available. The shooter was a supposed Christian and I am sure they know this saying. "An eye for an eye, tooth for a tooth."

You may not like guns. That is your right. You may not believe in God. That is your choice. But if someone breaks into your home, the first two things you are going to do are 1)Call someone with a gun and 2)Pray they get there in time. Layout made by tgags123

These people are the ISIS of America. I doubt their ideal society would be any different.

It's sad to see how much we rely on death to "fix" our issues. I have a different thought process here. I think it's all somehow made to make guns look bad and disarm us the citizens. The government with our own approval will take our weapons away the only thing we can use to fight against them and any terrorist. As for what happened, I am torn between abortion being okay or not. I can see legit reasons for abortion but, I just don't know about killing my own child you know I just don't know how people can do that. There are instances where rape was an issue and emotional distress makes it a good decision in your mind but, I just don't know I could do it. But, we all have our right to decide for ourselves the future of our children. As for him, not so much Christian for doing that terrible act. If you are really against it for your own religious views then, killing is not really religious at all. I feel sad for those who think he did good because those people were there to kill as well here's the thing the way he did it is horrible we can't condole that behavior at all. We have laws to protect us and he should've raised awareness not fear and hate. I hope he gets punished for his crime, I hope the victims are okay including the children, I hope unconscious people that have abortions often while not taking safety precautions to not be pregnant think about it twice, and I hope our government finds a better way to deal with this than to take more rights away from its people.

It's sad that people's personal beliefs can come in the way of letting women get the kind of care they need in this world to stay healthy. Whether they are there to get an abortion or to just do routine checkups that they need, it's a VERY NEEDED SERVICE.

The fact that people let their religious beliefs get in the way of that is sad. This has nothing to do with those beliefs. It's about giving the people the treatment they need.

Woman should have the choice on what to do with their bodies and if they need/want an abortion for some reason, who are we to judge? We have no insight to their lives or their frame of mind.

Now, every group has its bad eggs. Here, we have a perfect example of a super-radical Christian. Just like a super-radical Muslim beheads infidels, a super-radical Christian shoots up an abortion clinic. They both believe that their holy books completely justify their actions, and that heavenly rewards would await them after they had done their duties.

The thing that truly disgusts me is that people are using this as an opportunity to slam every single Christian while implying that they're all southern rednecks that are married to their cousins. Why, exactly, is this any different than a radical Muslim tragedy? What makes Muslims invulnerable to criticism and ridicule that Christians don't have? I have yet to find out.

To be honest, I'm pro-choice in this matter. Women should be allowed to do what they wish with their bodies. And let's not forget the times that abortion is necessary to save lives! And, as has been stated earlier in this thread, Planned Parenthood clinics don't just provide abortion services. I can only imagine what was going on in this shooter's mind as he shot up the place.
