The last thing I ate was a bowl of udon noodle soup with eggs and vegetables. =) For noodle soups like these and bowls of ramen, I always cook them myself because the "instant" types that come in styrofoam cups from stores are terrible for one's health (many of them contain way too much sodium even for one serving).

I'm doing this thing where I'm trying to eliminate sugar and bread as much as possible. It's not Adkins since that seems to be about eating just bacon. I love bacon but not enough to pound it every day.

This morning, for breakfast, I had green beans, a boiled egg, and I did have half a English muffin but only because my daughter didn't finish it and I didn't want it to go to waste. It tasted fine and I went light on the butter. That was chased by coffee and I'm now hydrating and hitting water to make up for soccer last night.

I may go back and revisit a piece or two of fruit just to keep me going. I have to take the kids to gymnastics and refueling with food will get me through that experience.
